Thanks guys! I had a great day. My students bought me cake, my colleagues bought me cake, it was leg day and I busted out some big old squats, then had a tandoori dinner and some nice beers with the wife. Oh yeah, and got to wear some new IH gear for the first time.

So its my Birthday today [emoji4][emoji482][emoji320][emoji322]What to do on my Birthday? Running training for the upcoming Bath half marathon in March 2017 which I am running to raise money for The Teenage Cancer Trust. I thought to myself . . . do I deserve a day off today? My mind wandered to those people who battle the disease of cancer and I thought they dont get a day off . . . . so off I trotted. 6 miles today, 5 miles yesterday and 12 miles on Sunday. I often find myself reflecting when I run particularly when I'm feeling pain or experiencing suffering that running can temporarily provide. When i consider my experiences against those of the brave people who truly experience pain and suffering along their journey with cancer, I find fresh motivation to carry on with my training.
