I thought vinegar set the dye so that it wouldn’t fade.

Ok so Right out of the bag the 40’s were roo big. I could buttonbyhe 38’s at the waist but they were tightt tightly. Im going to Be losing more weight so I’m Going with the 38’s. Fuck it. I am really excited about these. @Alex I’ll email you about a return label for the 40’s. I also may send the 38’s back
To be hemmed. I’ll email you. ThanksEdit: never mind, I just saw the return directions. Oops

That last paragraph gives me a clue of how you broke up With every girl you ever dumped. And you gave us the news on a Friday. Textbook. Wow
Hmmm… if that were truly the case I’d have already bought another pair of jeans and started wearing them hard, last Friday [emoji15][emoji41]

I didn’t say you theoretically hadn’t.

Presoak pics… not sure how much room in the thigh/lower thigh i'll have after the soak/wash. top block is fine though.
I think you’ll be just fine. The thighs will only shrink about .3 of an inch and will loosen up a bit. Probably feels constricting now because of the weight and stiffness of the denim. They look great though [emoji1434]

@neph93 @Megatron1505 correct me if I’m wromg but you guys are of The opinion that they should be a little too Tight in the waist at first and then they will Stretch? Thansk

Everything aaboit the 40’s is Too big. The 38 looks Much better and I will continue to drop weight sooo. I’m
Going with the 38’s. Fk it -
Good choice, but be prepared to think you were wrong after soaking them….feel the pain.....persevere......love your jeans (in about a month ).
-
Yeah I’m totally prepared for the second guessing. So far I’ve bought 2 pair of IH denim a tad too big. Wearable and comfortable and awesome. But big. I’m going for it.
Thanks Bud

My pair is drying after a 1.5 hour hot soak and a 40 deg wash w/o spin. In a few places, there are tiny marks and dents like these. I suspect I mashed the jeans in too much and should have checked that they were more smoothed out in the drum.
Ah well, I think it’ll only be noticable by me. Luckily there are no long lines or major spots that have faded…

NT arrived today and the cut is even better than I hoped. Great work IH crew. Denim does look a little darker than the old UHR and i think this run is a little, only a little, easier to button. Or the IH denim I wear is giving me fingers of steel.
The contest tee is the cat's ass. I should have gone for 2 I'm sure this one will be borrowed never to be seen again. -
That kind of thing is pretty much unaviodable. As you say it’s barely visible and when the jeans start fading will be gone. What you want to avoid is that kind of thing, but writ large, long and fat up and down half a leg. Sounds like you did great!
Thanks a bunch Neph. Figured there would be some marks with denim this heavy and abrasive… Now to wait for them to dry and feel the pain of stretching the waist.
Hopefully I got most of the shrinkage out. Haven’t measured them yet but they have definitely shrunk in length!

Mine were the same mate, in a few months it won't be noticeable.
-
Quick (lousy) fit pics while still damp. I have a feeling these will be perfect once I stretch the waist. Already bruising my hip, though.
Had them hemmed to 31,5" and once the knees set the length will be just right for a single tiny turn up like I planned.
Notice the indigo transfer to the patch. Can't figure out if cool or just ugly…
