@Mister_Brue just one of the many reasons why the forum is the best!! I love that no one around here gets caught up in the “comments section” trash talking ignorance. Just a bunch of denim heads geeking out on the hobby…and so much more.

@Mizmazzle So true.️

@Danimal506 Carhartts as potential cannon fodder. Good call!

Now I work in the Sheet Metal Union in a shop and as of yet I don’t wear my Iron Heart stuff to work...because I’m afraid of ripping random holes in them on raw corners of sheet metal.
As a craft worker that works directly with sheet metal workers, I can certainly agree with this. Tinners I work with like to leave duct work all over the place, on job sites. I'm constantly weaving in and out of it. I've caught two pairs of denim on sharp edges, before. I still wear IH to work. But, it's XHS, and I only wear it in winter...

Glorified desk jockey for a mechanical contractor here (including union sheet metal, plumbers, fitters, etc...)
I wear my IH to work but the closest thing to work related wear and tear that I get is creases in my elbows from constant face palming during conference calls and while trying to decifer shoddy plans/specs
-
@GraemeE Oh no it happens to you too?! Hahah
(The shotty plans and face palms) -
@Danimal506 the plans:
People in Patagonia vests telling people in Carharts that they need to fit 10lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag -
@GraemeE That’s why I wear Iron Heart
-
I’m glad this thread exists, so I can see what IH can really handle!
-
@Mister_Brue I've had my fades questioned before on IG too. It's just what some folks tend to do on there. IDK. I think they just must be indigo (green) with envy. Heck those haters, dawg.

@Aetas Great shot. Nice jacket 🥰
-
@Aetas Hell yea!
-
@endo Intrigued to know what you are doing with the billhook…

making and shifting wood @Mister_Brue

it's a dirty little beasts, but very useful

I can blow through cheap workwear pants in 3 months so it’s almost a smart investment to wear IH to work….. (at least that’s how I justify it to myself ha ha)
