Thanks Bud. Have a good night.

Just got my pair from SE… sorry I couldn't wait for the restock.
The fit is perfect, even with the slightly slimmer thigh than the 21/23 DWC cut. Plus I forgot how lovely the 21oz feels.
Amazing!

Well done Joe. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do glad they fit so well. Can’t wait for some 21oz back in my life

@Haddtoo:

Customers who have spent a certain amount during the course of the year at IHUK get a code. I’m not sure what the amount is, but I’ve been a customer for years, and have only gotten it one time.

Hey all, getting ready to make my first move into IHs. Have transitioned from a distance running routine to powerlifting in the last year, have put on about 10 lbs, and am growing out of all of my pants. Currently squeezing into a pair of 3sixteen CT-120x but the blowout is already starting after only a few months of wear.
Curious of your thoughts on recommendations for cuts and sizes. The high rise of the IH888S is very appealing to me and after a few years of buying denim that is too tight, I'm eager to get a comfy pair of pants that I can wear until they're legitimately done.
Current pair of 3sixteens (which are slightly too small in the waist and way too tight in the thigh) measurements are below (using the IH method). Actual thigh measures 22.75".
Waist 32.5 (ideally want a pair that stretches to 33 or just over that)
FR 11
RR 15.25
Thigh 11.5 (this is the main issue with these pants and I'm finding them increasingly hard to put on)Would a 32" 888s have a noticeably comfier thigh than what I'm currently in? Size charts show the thigh is 12.3 - would this be enough to not only be comfy now but also allow me to keep wearing them if my thighs get a bit larger? I don't plan on putting on any more weight at this point, but wouldn't be too surprised if my body proportions change a bit and my thighs grow a little more.
Was also considering the IH634 and Flathead 3012, but spend the most time dreaming about the 888s.
-
They would be much more comfortable in the thigh.
Those measurements are side to side, not circumference, so you're moving from 23 inches to 24.6 inches. That's significantly larger, even for someone who never skips leg day. In addition, you'll get a bit of stretch from the 21 oz denim, definitely enough to get a 33" waist.
Bottom line, I think the size 32 will work for you.

Appreciate it, Chris. I was thinking the same thing, but have retired too many pairs early from buying the wrong cut or too small of a size so wanted some input from the community. Can't wait until they get re-stocked!
-
@donkeyoats When the 888S Restock comes in we will measure again to see if they are similar to the existing chart, and publish if otherwise but it sounds like Tag 32 will be the way to go as @Chris mentioned . If you need specific measurements just let us know as sometimes there can be variation among pairs.
Make sure you're signed up for re-stock notification HERE if you aren't already

@Adam thanks! Yep, signed up for the restock notification and will definitely check the size chart if it gets updated. Appreciate the help.
Now to decide if I go with the 888S or the IH-888S-OD when those get released…

That's easy, get both. You'll thank me later

5 months in, no wash or soak, trying really hard to resist washing as the whiskers/ combs are starting to come along nicely. anyone washed their pair yet ?
-
You can always do a handwash if you're scared of losing combs. However I think washed Jeans look better than those that have been kept raw forever.

Hi is there any update on the superblack version?
