IHJ-65 - 21oz Selvedge Mountain Parka

That’s what happens when you make the best denim jeans on the planet
-
Time to get my monies together then. That works!

Thanks for the update Giles. I guess I'll just have to order that OD'd M65 to hold me over until this beauty becomes available.
PS: My bank account just breathed a sigh of relief due to the fact that once I saw the Instagram post of that M65 this morning, I was full on prepared to buy both that and the mountain parka within the coming weeks.

Perhaps you could widen the width of the seams (to facilitate easier sewing) a pinch and make this out of 25oz XHS instead?

Are there any specific measurements that can be shared at present (even if only on a tentative basis) ? I am specifically interested in the Mountain Parka's length, because any serious challenge to the Canadian winter (anywhere in Canada !) ought to include a coat that at least covers one's back-side !

Here are some other questions, about the parka's fine styling: What is under the button-down front placket ? A zipper ? Is it a zipper in blue that is pictured, in the gap between the bottom of the front placket and the parka's hem ? If that's not a zipper pictured, is what we have here a modified anorak (i.e. pull-over) styling ? -

That won’t happen I’m afraid. Only the sample has been produced, which means tweaks will be made before production. In addition there can be variation between target measurements, decided on after the sample and the actual aggregate measurements of the production run. No one will know them until the jackets land in Gosport.
The crew might be able to say something about the intended fit and style however, as well as the zip…

I understand; thanks, neph93 ! I am now as much in-the-know as can be regarding this (or any) pre-production sizing routine.

As for 'zip-up and button-over' versus 'neo-anorak' styling (and other such details perhaps yet to be finalized), I'm sure that we can trust The Stubborn Crew to update us all about the Mountain Parka, in due course.
