IH-526Lod - 19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III - Indigo Overdyed Black

I'm a bit confused, is Alex's post #7 the new measurements or the old ones?
1st edit: I mean, has post #7 been updated to the newer measurements?
2nd edit: Duh, I'm comparing to the website shop measurements and looks to be the same as post #7.
Question then: Are the old measurements laying around somewhere, to easily compare old vs. new?

Man. Just got mine today. What a beast. How do you all think it looks under a T-shirt? It seems to fit nearly like my other 21oz type three from IH. Here they are back to back.

Lefty Looks great , what size xxl?

I prefer the bottom one… it’s a better length and possibly marginally slimmer in the arms. I think it suits you better. The top one looks great too though and obviously most casual observers wouldn’t notice much difference.

Both are xxl. The top is the 21oz “normal” ih jacket and the od is the one below.

Both look great. There are marginal differences in shoulder width, length etc, but both fit well and suit you. Any preference is a matter of personal taste or at worst, pointless nitpickery (which many of us are guilty of at times, myself included :D).
It is different denim, with a different treatment and none of them are digitally printed so there will always be differences between iterations, and in fact, examples of the same jacket.
You're a badass Mr. Lemon

@thomas01 yes. I can fit a light flannel. I find that’s it’s hard wearing a lot of IH clothes “stacked” on each other since they are so heavy. For example, wearing a 12oz western shirt can be done under this jackets, but that’s a lot denim.

Yes, though I don't always wear it that way. I can post to confirm if you don't belive me

Thanks @neph93. Because of how ahem sturdy the overdyed jacket is I was worried that it fit differently than my other type 3s. If I sized up, though, it would be too long in many different areas. It's a little tight when I button it; however, like my 21oz softened up over time, I suppose this one will, too. I wore it all afternoon (inside) and it is really molding to my body, especially my arms. Such an amazing denim. Well worth the wait.

No. Even with a t-shirt I could probably wear this year-round. I can fit a uhf underneath but that's where things get a little sung and much too warm. The kanreki is the perfect weight for me. (Man, I wish they made this type of flannel more often.) Once I break the jacket in, I might try wearing a uhf under it again. Normally, though, even when it is very cold, that's almost too much down here.

It makes me wish I bought a heavier pair of overdyed jeans. I have the 14oz, and while they are so nice, I'd love to have something in this weight.
