@bluemantra as the others have said I think it still looks solid, a little long, but I too prefer the longer length for the most part now. also helps it to be able to be worn more as an overshirt if you want. These pictures are making me really excited for mine being out for delivery
-
thanks all. you make good points that it is just different than what i'm used to wearing. I think I will give this a chance. It's very crisp and stiff new.
In measuring the back length is not that different than some of my IH shirts, but I think the difference is on the IH shorts the front is a little shorter and the SJ is equally long in the back and front.

The towns is always a little long… it’s just something to get used to. The jacquard looks awesome on you! @bluemantra
-
Edit…. @GraemeE I currently have the herringbone, the brown pin stripe and the sashiko. I used to have the denim one, the black broken twill, and a waxed one but I’ve since sold those three off for some reason.
I do still have my dads black broken twill

@hgering27 night and day fit difference. Looks spot on post wash! Congrats dude!

@Mizmazzle thanks man, i was worried it might shrink too much in width, but its literally perfect
-

The trousers on the right

@bluemantra I had a nine lives shirt that was way too long. I washed it and made sure all the shrink was out and then I had it shortened a couple inches. If you wear that untucked most of the time you'll get tired of the long length and not reach for it. Luckily, bringing a hem up is a rather easy job for a seamstress. Don't be afraid to throw another $40 to get it where you want it.

@hgering27 perfect fit
