IHSH-208-IND - Indigo Kersey Western Shirt

@doubletee I also think it looks great, but ultimately only you know how it feels compared to your other shirts..
FWIW it looks like a keeper to me.
-
depends on how you want to wear it @doubletee
To me I see a couple of things that make me think going a size up might be better such as the side hem length showing a lot of your undershirt. For me personally, This is usually an indication that the shirt is too short (or I'm wearing a tshirt that's too long :D)
The shoulders look good but definitely on the trim/fitted side of comfortable and the sleeves look exactly the right length when standing, which for me usually means I'll find them sliiightly short when working at a desk, driving, or whatever. It looks good but would also ask for a buttoned picture with your t-shirt tucked.

Thanks guys. Here are some more @goosehd

@doubletee Golden fit and one I would be very happy with! What are your thoughts now? Still on the fence or happy with it?
IMO, looks fantastic
-
@doubletee seconded, looks perfect.
-
The only thing I see is that it looks short on the sides, but I’m not sure sizing up would solve that …
Otherwise it looks fantastic on you!

Does it make any sense to buy this instead of a UHF for winter? Is the fabric close to as dense/thick? I love the UHFs in photos but they're a little loud for me. Thanks
-
@CosmoSix5 pretty thick and warm this fabric is. Not quite as warm as a UHF though.
-
@CosmoSix5 Agree with @Mizmazzle. Lovely shirt though. Cozy for the colder months. Highly recommended.

@CosmoSix5 This was my first IH purchase years ago, and still is my favorite shirt. Something very special about the material, and the fit. I can only say that about the Western version, but I would say this, UFH, and CPO are must have top choices IMO.
I still want to get copper snaps though in mine. -
So, I'm in the middle of a "I'm tired of Iron Heart shirts I can't wash and dry" and my old Kersey was one of the most aggressive shrinkers on me. I'm also sizing up a little bit more these days on everything, no more fitted looks. So I picked up a practically brand new (worn 1x) size XXX-Large because of my measurements on shrinkage on my previous size Large. Thought I'd post my wash/dry experience here because I had a lot of success with this one.
Pre-wash: 24.5" chest, 20" shoulders, 27.5" sleeves.
Very hot water soak, hot air tumble dry: 23.5" chest, 19" shoulders, 26.25" sleeves. It now fits absolutely perfectly for my taste, and I have no worries about future shrinkage on it. For the record, I'm a true 41" chest, I wear shirts in a 16-35, usually a size Medium or Large in most US sizing, usually a 42 or 44 in most Japanese brands. I got this one because the kersey was so aggressive and because I got it cheap enough to experiment on. I'm still thinking XX-Large UHF's are the way for me to go, going forward.
And yes, I know most people like the "just don't put your shirt in the dryer" lifestyle, but I have 3 kids and I like the way that flannels wear in over time when wash/dried, so that's just not going to be my taste.

@Daniel-San that snap upgrade is soo good!!
-
@rydor Cool to see you’ve found a formula that hopefully works for you going forward.
