IH-888-XHSib - 25oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Ind/blk

Uh yea. I have some seat and hem evo now but I’ve mostly been sitting in front of a computer for the past 2 weeks.
-
@neph93 hey Reuben, how did you hem these compared to your 888s-OD?
I went an inch longer to 32.5” for safety’s sake. They measured up as 32.6” before the soak so IHUK nailed that one. Got around 0.7” shrinkage to 31.9”. That is a little longer than my 888-UHR and 888S-OD but not an issue as yet, as I quite like a little cuff on my 888’s with engineer boots (never thought I’d be “that guy” [emoji1]).
Given that this is XHS I’ll wait and see what happens with combs, stacks and the general break in before I decide if I need to do anything. There’s a pretty hefty bit of knee break going on right now but that may be as much a result of the stiffness of the denim as the slightly longer than normal inseam. I expect it to calm down when they’re broken in.
Here they are on day four. Excuse the excessive posing [emoji849]

They look great. Damnit if this denim comes out in a cut that works for me I’m going to HAVE to indulge myself.
-
Great fit @neph93
You know how to wear a pair of jeans

Looking super sharp and pensive in your pose:. "did I leave the stove on?"
I'm so sick of that bloody toilet. Weather has been a drag the last few weeks and I can't get outside so I'm stuck in this well lit but intensely fekkin boring toilet doing glorified selfies for my hobby ::) I was seriously thinking "ffs Reuben, get a life"
Thank you for your kind words though…

Thanks buddy.
Kind of feel like I’m learning all over again with the 888. I really struggle with the relaxed thigh and top block, but then I look in the mirror and think “it’s good”!
That’s great though man.
I on the other hand fall in love with fabric, quality and evo… then look I in the mirror and think “ jeez these don’t look so great on me.”
But I give no fucks because of afformentioned love of fabric, evo and quality.

Matty, I will not stand idly by while you say that! You are a beautiful unicorn and have the dopest fades!
Seriously, it looks good on you!

And Reuben, I think the whole lot appreciate your bathroom selfie sacrifices to show off how good this can look
"I walked 2km up hill both ways to take this picture in this here commode!"
Naaaaww… now you made me blush. Cheers buddy. The weather forecast for the next week is horrendous so there’s plenty more to come [emoji1]

Great Fit Neph!

@neph93 I truly appreciate that! Photography is my creative outlet. I put my 888s in the closet while trying to focus/beat up on the 555s! I totally agree that these jeans are for the long haul.

I totally enjoy your pics @neph93 so please keep them coming. On today’s pic I loved the vest you wore. The color in that pic looks tops in my book. I guess I’ve never seen that vest in real life; wonder how that color would llok up close. Sure looks beautiful and paired up nicely with shirt and jeans. 8
