Bought the 14oz Ecos but my butt is too big so I'm not thinking about exchanging them for the smallest waist/thigh size 36 left in these! Thoughts?

@Filthy:
Sweet. Have a good one!
Jeans just arrived!!!
Filthy, you're the best, inseam is perfect at 36, one small cuff and they work perfectly.
I'm a 38, but these are fitting well, seems they've had some shrink, a tad baggy on the hip section, but they are very nice jeans. They're heading for a good soak then a wash to clean them up as you suggested.
Also, you are completely right as to the weight and feel of this denim compared to the IH 25's. I am finding the IH's so comfortable, even though they're still like wearing cardboard, they feel like ferkin' pajama's they feel, fit and hang so nicely. So can see where you said the Samurai feel more like 18oz.
Well, into the wash, when they're all dried up, I'll try and post a pic.
Filthy - was so super nice of you to do this, and wish you the very best.

My pleasure @Phrank

This is my first pair of XHS and I’ve done two hot soaks so far with my pair.
I’ve lost close to an inch of inseam, will the inseam length continue to shrink with another hot soak or should I switch to a cold soak next time to prevent further shrinkage?
Very impressed with this material, I love the electric blue fades and I’m excited to share some pics down the road.

@neph93 Thank you for the reply it's appreciated. The water in my apartment can only get so hot so I usually add a large pot of almost boiling water to the mix as well. I did not agitate much if at all. Also, you were spot on with the inseam measurement recommendation ;).
@Paul9221 The input is appreciated, these are my favorite pants currently and I wanted to make sure I double checked before I made a mistake. Thanks!
I'm not super happy I'm looking at my third soak already but it's not easy keeping these clean with a 75lb slobber head English Bulldog. Received the pair exactly a month ago, about 25 wear days.

Ugh, I know this pain. About 6 weeks ago, we got a baby green-cheek conure parrot. Since then, I can't wear anything nice when I'm at home, because it likes to hang out on my shoulder and poop all over me. Still, she's a lovely bird

These jeans are so pleasurable to wear. I wish the camera was able to capture the sheen of the denim. They are so soft now.

Two hot soaks should have gotten the shrinkage out. If you're worried you can stretch the leg by pulling hard on the length of the inseam from the hem while the jeans are still wet. Glad I could help!

FYI this has to be the most beautiful denim I have ever seen in my entire life.
