The Iron Heart Forum Ten Year Anniversary Party Week End…

Writing this on the descent into Oslo….
There are too many people I could mention here who made my weekend amazing. Friends both old and new, from the forum and otherwise. I want to list them all but it would be too long and I may accidentally miss someone, so I’m going for «no-one mentioned, no-one forgotten». You all know who you are so thank you so much.
I will mention @Giles, @Madame Buttonfly and @Alex for their impeccable hospitality and generosity. In addition the entire Stubborn Crew did their company and brand proud.
I also want to make special mention of @scooter. Not only did he leave the US for the first time to travel to Gosport, he gifted me some amazing beer from his home state, (more about that on the appropriate thread), saved my ass when a double booking threatened to create havoc and let me sleep on his sofa bed. He also drove me back to LHR this morning. He epitomises the fraternal spirit of the forum and is great company to boot.
Cheers everyone!
Thank you for the kind words, mate. One of the biggest reasons I chose to attend this event is because of that fraternal spirit of which you speak. It was an honor to be part of it.

Thanks so much to Giles, Paula, Alex and the entire IH Crew for your gracious hospitality. I’m grateful to have met fellow forum members and Iron Heart enthusiasts. It was a wonderful weekend! Thanks again!
I enjoyed my coffee in style this morning…

Three things destroyed my voice at kanreki, cigarettes, whisky, and singing.
This time I was pretty croaky because of the excessive smoking but managed to avoid total voice loss. Beer>whisky.

We had a full on gig in the backyard this time. That guy is Greighwolfe and he did five or six songs for us. He was great and a thoroughly nice guy to boot. You’ll find him on Soundcloud.

Looks like you all had a cracking time. I'd love to come to one, not great at meeting new people in large groups though. Maybe someday.
IH crew certainly did themselves very proud. Just adds to the exceptional service the brand provides.

You’d be surprised how many participants, myself included, feel the same way. It is so relaxed, open and pleasant that it’s works even for the socially awkward introverts such as I.
Also that may be why Giles makes sure the fridge is well stocked with conversational lubricant (aka beer) [emoji1]

Can be confirmed… I am quite a forum newbie and it‘s been my first IH party... I never met so many relaxed and nice (and well-dressed
) people...
