Here some comparisions to the previous version IH-715. (Who cares?!)
The 724 pants have larger beltloops, the buttons on cargo side pockets are now visible and we have 2 buttons per pocket. The previous 715 had one hidden cargo button and flaps sewn at rear on both Cargo pockets, and the waistband had orange stitch.

I love both versions. They are very comfortable and pretty cool.
Nevertheless IMO the 715 style was more elaborate… -

Has this happened to anyone else?
Just tried to button my shorts as always and it popped off. As you can see it‘s not the thread that ripped, it‘s the button.I love those shorts. They are surely the best ones I have ever owned. However, @IH Crew may you will consider any other material for future reruns? At least for the front button.

I've had this happen to a pair of 3sixteen jeans once. I shipped them back to SelfEdge LA where I purchased them from and they repaired them for free so I'm assuming it's a fairly easy fix?

Yes, this will be an easy fix. I think I have some spare buttons in one of my drawers at home. It won‘t make much sense to ship them all around Europe just for sewing on a new button.
