IH-634SR - 21/23oz 5 Year Anniversary Straight Cut

I'm just glad it wasn't me missing something in plain sight!
-
Gratuitous bump as some of you have missed this.
These are likely to come in when I am in LA. So to help me and the guys back here. If you have reserved a pair, please go here:
http://www.ironheart.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=119
Pop a pair in your basket and when checking out confirm your size and forum name. That way we can turn these dudes around quickly and not delay your further heavy denim lustings for longer than is absolutely necessary…...

so i ordered these in size 33, but when i was paying i tried to just use my credit card and it kicked me back to step 2 after i tried to confirm my order in step 3. i put my info in again and it did the same so i just switched payment method to paypal and successfully checked out that way. just wanted to make sure i dont end up paying for 3 pairs of these.

Giles, am I too late in asking to reserve a size 30?
-
no problem Giles, my fault for not jumping on it sooner. So next Thursday there's an opportunity if I can put it in the cart and checkout fast enough… haha
-
woohoo, just picked up a 30 at SELA
-
Giles,
I picked them up at the store during my lunch break, I was nervous about waiting… I missed meeting you in person by 2 hours!!
I must say, these are seriously gnarly... I'm very tempted to start breaking these in right away, but I'm dedicated to my 301s 07bk's for the time being (which I love).

Ah, those are beautiful. I had the opportunity to see these in person, and they are even nicer in person. One surprising thing was how soft and pliable the denim had become, definitely a well worn pair for sure.
-
i guess you could try treating it with some obenaufs or similar and see if it will soften up some :-\

Is it recommended to straight up boil your jeans? I'd think that would be bad for your leather tag??? I always just give jeans a soak as hot as the tap will go…
-
as far as im aware your never supposed to go boiling hot, there was a thread about this on SUFU, as a rule dont boil your jeans, steaming hot works the best for me
