Sup sup IH crew.
Worn 155 times. Did another shower wash last night as they were layered in grease and dirt, once again.
-
man, those are so nice. Props dude.
-
wow - they look amazing. congrats.
-
ain't gonna get fades like that with squats - sure you'll break them in a little but not gonna produce those high contrast fades - I think those are coming from doing real work in the jeans
also I don't think the amount of weight you're squatting is gonna have that much to do with the stress on the denim
-
salute yo_mj incredible work . . . & that is what i call documentation. . . they have meds for that condition
-
One of the nicest i've seen yet.
-
634SR at about 3 months, allowing for time away for hemming.
Three soaks, the last with a light Dr. Bronners eucalyptus wash.
I can't wear jeans to work so these only get worn on evenings and weekends for the most part.
Similar to some other pairs I've seen, the whiskers are a little strange, getting some marbling particularly on the right. The left knee is more faded than the right, but this isn't from being down on my knees or anything. I think these effects are from the loomstate nature of the denim and some of the changing stresses over time. The left leg has a lot of skew. Just my theory. I don't worry about it. Love them and wear them. -
fading looks great.. and they look surprisingly good without the arcs.

i guess i gotta take my pair to the gym to do squats with to catch up with everyone else haha. but really has anyone tried this to help break them in? probably wont do too much weight like 225 max. will that tear through the denim?
I have ripped 3, yes, 3 pairs of military rip-stop cargo shorts doing squats at the gym in the last 6 months. I would be scared as hell to squat in 450 dollar jeans…
