Coronavirus (Covid-19) Discussion

yeah I've got a couple. they're really comfy to wear, coming from someone that hasn't had a need to wear a mask at all for the past year because of where live.
I don't really care much about it's effectiveness since where I live, covid is almost non-existent. so to me, it's only to meet the mandatory requirements of wearing one while out.
does anyone know if the ban is only for Italy and if they still ship internationally?

I’ve taken to double masking as of late. A KN95 with a cloth mask over that. Surprisingly,it ‘s more comfortable and my glasses don’t fog up. Feel as if I’ve gotten this far and hopefully will be getting vaccinated soon,a little extra effort definitely won’t hurt.
Just a heads up, they're saying not to wear a second mask with a KN95. I had been doing it, until I saw this.

I think like the flu shot, and as the virus changes, you might have to get a yearly shot. Also like the flu shot,if you do happen to get the virus anyway, you’re chances at survival are significantly better. Just my two cents. I’m eligible but can’t get an appointment yet. Plenty of people better connected than me jumping the line.

As a front line #&@?% #&£%!? working with adults in the UK, I opted not to consent to the vaccine. I contributed to #@&%+?!@&£#?!@ vaccine policy too. It has not been made mandatory. Giving an invasive treatment without a person's capacitated consent is assault in English and Welsh law.
I have opted not to consent for 2 reasons:
1.i have been a lifelong animal rights activist. Vaccines remain tested on mice and monkeys in the UK, including Oxford Zeneca. That is a deeply personal choice.
2. I have read all research papers, and have considered them thoroughly. I take very little notice of the media and prefer to seek the origin of the information. I have read the documents attached here:
https://www.research.ox.ac.uk/Article/2020-07-19-oxford-covid-19-vaccine-trials
The UK Government has been very clear in stating that no vaccines prevent you from contracting covid 19.it's intention is to reduce serious illness, death, and hospital admissions.
I do get access to priveleged information, but cannot and won't disclose that. It always amuses me when a Minister 'leaks' information a few days before Government make an announcement, where lots of Public Sector workers have had the information, in some cases for weeks.
I would NEVER advocate for or against the vaccines available. I DO advocate for informed decision making based on your personal circumstances. PLEASE make your decision confidently, for the right reason.
We will eventually live with Covid 19 in the same manner as we do Influenza. The Influenza vaccine has relativity low efficacy every year, and in the UK between November and March ('flu season') there are on average 20,000 excess deaths attributed to Influenza or pneumonia, a consequence of Influenza.
Keep safe all, and much love

Thanks so much for the heads up. I wonder why?
I believe it affects the quality of the seal on the KN95.

@dinobarnesberlin I do not know if it runs in the family. But we are getting better.

@Giles and @Madame Buttonfly It is fantastic news. All 3 of us will get over this. Thanks for thinking about us on the other side of the pond.
