IHSB-BIGBUCK-BLK - Black Deerskin Western Shirt
A shirt we originally made especially for Haraki about 9 years ago. We have teamed up with Simmons Bilt and recreated this beauty. The Deerskin is sourced for the Kolesch Tannery (https://www.gerberei-kolesch.de/) which is the oldest working tannery on Germany. The deerskin which is tanned there, is probably the best in the world, and no chemicals at all are used in the tanning process. The black dye is hand painted onto the face of the hide, so it will age back to the natural colour in high wear areas.
Notes:
- When the face of the hide is painted, some of the paint transfers to the rear, so there will be paint streaks on the inside of the shirt
- There is scarring to the hides, we try to avoid as much as we can, but there may be small imperfections in the hide
If you can't embrace the perfection-is-in-the-imperfections, then this shirt is not for you.

Here are the measurement of the sample which is an L, and fits me well…
Shoulders 18.25
Length 30.25
P2P 22
Opening 21.5
Arm 27.5The product will not go live on the website until we have one of each size here to measure. I'm guessing that will be the end of June/beginning of July.
If you would like to make sure you are at the front of the queue, we can take your measurements the Simmons Bilt way, take a USD700 deposit and make sure that yours is one of the first out of the door.
Send an email to shop@ironheart.co.uk to start the process.

No front yoke works on the IHSH-13…..
https://www.ironheart.co.uk/tops/ihsh-13-blu.html
And if I'm going to tweak stuff, I'd like to minimize the changes to reduce likelihood of a screw-up....
-
I have an IHSH-184. So, I have first hand knowledge of that design. I certainly understand the aversion to tweaking stuff. My initial inquiry was not necessarily meant to question only the possibility of changes, but more to find whether a stand alone non-western option was being considered.
-
Glad to get that ball rolling. Even if it winds up being only a consideration.
I will say this, the thought of the removal of the front yoke does increase the odds I may order one. Although, that may not mean much, when there was likely no chance, before. But, if the version I described earlier, or something like it, were to be brought to fruition, the chance becomes a given.

Goddammit…. H was wearing this at the F&C in 2018. It was utterly stunning. Buying one now would require a lottery win or a lot of financial discipline
And keep on living to wear it would require that HotIngrid never finds out the price. @neph93
Truely a stunning piece.

@ Giles
How do the hide look like without the black dying ? Like the brown one one the pictures ?
If the brown is the original color from the hide , I would prefer it !! Maybe it’s possible to get it undyed
so it looks like the on from Haraki right from the start. -

This is nuts-o
Haraki san's looks out of this worldDid his start out as black or brown?

Ah ok , i understand. The beautiful brown is the result of wearing the shirt over years.
What kind of cloth is it in the inside ? An will it be Black or red like in Harakis ?
