WOW @poweramper those 634-XHS are epic.
Take a pic of you wearing the jeans and the jacket together. -
Re-stocked in all sizes. We also made some minor changes to the sizing chart (see below), measurements have always been pretty variable in this XHS denim, and we do have some fairly significant variance from one pair to the next, so don't be afraid to ask if you are looking for specific dimensions…

Have any of the details updated? i.e. tucked belt loops, lined pockets, selvedge fly as seen on some other recent 634 models?
While I do not own, and have not seen, many of the other IH denims, this one is still at the top of my list. I love how dark the indigo is, almost black, and how dense the weave is. There's just enough irregularity to make it interesting without being over kill. It develops great vertical fading and streakiness. And it holds onto indigo in not abrasive areas to develop great contrast. I've washed mine probably close to 20 times in wearing them for about 18 months in the DWC, and there are areas that still as dark as when they were new.
I've felt my pair in 33 ran a bit small, and I no longer wear them as they're too tight and restrict movement. I've been wanting to go up one to a 34. But with the other recent offerings, it's a tough decision…
-
Sorry for asking something probably buried in the prior 70+ pages but are these as breathable as the 21oz 634S? I thought I read somewhere that the weave was actually much tighter.
I'm also sure that the break-in must be a fun experience… however the larger thigh on the tag 35 is making me think hard about these even if the waist may be a bit loose (probably make break-in less painful though).
-
The 25oz is nowhere near as breathable as the 21oz. You won't care.
-
I don't find the 25 oz all that uncomfortable after only a few wears. It's a touch less breathable, but I'm still able to wear them comfortably in 70-75 degrees.
Granted I have the 777 fit, but they are much more comfortable and not nearly as bad as some other reviewers have made the break in out to be.
-
I suspect not, the overdying process does unpredictable things to the denim. We have had to discard a whole production run of one type of jeans we made once because the overdying process wrecked the jeans. In a denim as expensive as this and with jeans that are so hard to make, I think we'd need our heads examined if we even thought we should give it a go…......
Came across this. I now know why they say never say never!

Wore my XHS to the airport and had TSA show me how my jeans set off an alert on their monitors LOL spent 10 minutes with them patting me down ::)
TSA girl: it's his jeans huh?
TSA guy: yeah…they're really thickThanks Iron Heart

That happened to me with the 10AC Mister Freedom CPO.

@Giles How soon until a restock in size 40 in these? I might be able to squeeze into a big waist 38 if you have one. 39 is ideal.
I'm more interested in where the half inch thick intersection of seams on the back yoke falls. Being that the rise is over a full inch over the Pronto Slim Cut, I'm hoping that the yoke is a full inch higher… on my Prontos the yoke makes the jeans damn near unbearable to sit on for long trips.
If someone could measure from where the bottom of the yoke falls up from the seam in the crotch/ bartack that would be great.
