IH-634-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

@neph93 the waist is a hair over 35", and the thigh is 13.3 ish (i.e. no meaningful stretch on the thigh).
On space to spare, the thighs fit snuggly, but I can slide a fairly large hand down there without struggle. I would say the thighs are perfect for me, with the crotch seam sitting exactly where it should, able to move easily in them without any excessive material.

Reminds me of a girl I used to know… anyhoo
Based on that info and the web shop measurements then I’d say the W34’s will be perfect for you. Possibly a shade smaller than your current 21oz in the final analysis, but probably not even that.

Weyyy
Thanks for that @neph93, 34 it is!

Trigger = pulled. Looking forward to having no skin on my legs/thumbs/gentleman's vegetables, but looking impeccably stylish all the while.

Well done, sir. It is a close run thing, but the XHS is my favourite of all the IH denims I have ever tried. Truly an investment in quality, and like all good investments the dividends become greater and greater with time. Personally I’m looking forward with pleasure to IH-888-XHS, sometime in the future.

You'll never regret that decision, congrats. For all my H.Duty denim buttons, 25oz included, once fastened and whilst not wearing, give the fabric a firm pull in all directions obviously around the buttons. This relaxes the button holes in a matter of seconds, and will save your pinkies the rigorous work out this denim is famed for.

Good tip @GC - anything I can give a firm pull to ease the ball chafe?
-
Amen to that @neph93

Loving these! Fit feels spot on
-
Cheers @neph93 Haven't soaked yet, going with the wear them a little bit to get some of the stretch out then soak approach
-
Cheers @Jett129, I'm a big fan of how they're looking! Must have a bit of junk in the trunk to fill them out
-
@LewisStonehouse That is a solid fit my man. Like others have said I wish the 634 fit me like that.
I would soak those sooner rather than later though, my XHS shrank an inch when I initially soaked them.
-
Thanks @Palmer. I was going to get them in the bath in the next few days for a soak in cold water, maybe for half an hour. Hoping the shrinkage will be fairly minimal, but even if I get an inch of shrink I'm sure they'll stretch back out

I doubt you'll see much change at all with a cold soak. Wear them hard!
-
@LewisStonehouse I would recommend a hot soak to get the shrinkage out… after a little discomfort they will stretch back to where they are now, possibly even a little bigger. That way you know where you are from the start and avoid potential fade shift down the line.
That being said, I didn't soak my first pair of XHS and they came out nice in the end: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1819.msg640752#msg640752

Thanks @neph93, I shall do as you say, but I can't promise I won't curse your name as I'm stretching them back out of again. How hot is hot, 60c ish?
