IH-634-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

….would probably wash at 30 or 40, so if I soak at 40c then I know where I am....
Exactly! Use a bath tub. Flip them and straighten out any creases. Soak for at least an hour but not more than two. Half way through agitate them in the water then straighten/de-crease them again for the remainder. Air dry, and Robert’s your father’s brother.

In progress! Will report back on results when they've dried

Soak done, skinned my damn thumbs getting them on but no pain nk gain.
Thoughts gents?

I’ll echo what @Jett129 wrote earlier and express my surprise at the fit. They don’t look like a traditional 634. I mean that in a good way, I love your fit. The thighs look a little snug, but they will give and stretch.
I think it can be said for most denim but is undoubtedly true of the XHS, don’t judge your fit now, but rather wait for a few weeks wear. I think you’ll be onto a winner.

Thanks chaps. The thighs feel a little snug now but I love how they fit. I thought I would have these but be waiting to try the 888, but I think they're my cut. I have weird legs, and have always struggled to get flattering trousers, so can't express how happy I am with these.
Also, y'all are really lovely and great for bolstering a chap's confidence. Glad I came on here and started posting cringe picture of myself in the living room

They look good! 634 is the best cut that I have found for my legs also… good job!
-
@LewisStonehouse how much did the inseam shrink when you soaked them?
-
I haven't measured them, but from recuffing I think it's a touch over half an inch
-
Man hadn't worn these in a minute and slapped them back on with my IHB-08. Totally rad. After wearing 21oz for some years now, I have to wear 25oz to feel like I'm wearing heavy duty denim…

…hello blokes,
just soaked my first pair of Iron Hearts after three weeks of wear, pulled them out of the tub and the outside rivet of my change pocket came off.
Do I need a special tool to get that back on or just a tack hammer?
Thoughts?
Thanks ,Rory

Hi Rory.
Where did you buy them from? I’d recommend you send pictures to the place of purchase and enquire about a repair. If it was IHUK I’m sure they will be right on it.
That being said, a tack hammer and some sort of punch maybe enough.

Hey Neph93,
right after I posted I figured Id YOUTUBE it! Seems doable. Rather not send it across the pond twice for such a little thing.
Have a denim shirt currently ordered ( oh, and yes IHUK ). I wonder if its possible to get 1-2 of the brass/copper rivets sent with my order?
Anyway, thanks.

Understood.
Get in touch with IHUK, I’m sure they’ll be happy to help if they can.

Really sorry that this happened. The rivets very occasionally fail on the 25oz, but it's not something we can see in QC.
Drope shop@ironheart.co.uk a note and we include a few with your shirt.
Thanks for being so nice about it.

…as they say, 'sh*t happens'. Turns out my buddy has the tool to attach the rivet! ( old hot rod upholsterer )!
Actually I ripped the left rear pocket of my jeans trying to shimmy by a piece of equipment at work, about 2 inches of the lower outside pocket, material is fine just the threads pulled out, and I just about cried. I mean I've only had these pants about a month! Well guess what? Same buddy to the rescue and he sewed them up perfectly with the same color thread and everything!
Dodging bullets left and right!
All good, thanks Guys!
