@Max Power Ruttloff Garments would surely be able to do it.
-
Good idea @beautiful_FrEaK

Rutloff is too busy, so unfortunately he won't do it. So I'm still looking…

Melvin from the Netherlands? He has a denim repair shop. He is based near GRoningen, can't remember his shop's name though.
Edit: Mr Handy Denim Repair

Thanks again @beautiful_FrEaK

If I ordered something now, would it be worth "stacking it" to wait until you post that knurled silver button for sale? Or is that thing a long way off?
Related: please can I buy that knurled silver button!?!
I wanted the other one if it is not a fortune. But I will just get it when they come out when I order something else.

So, what do you think, should I have the other side of the crotch repaired and get more use out of these, or call it quits on them and move on to my next pair?
Thanks!
I've had jeans repaired multiple times in a lot worse state than this. If you like them, fix them. If you're in the US then use Rain at Indigo Proof. She's a goddess when it comes to this kind of thing. https://www.indigoproof.com
-
yeah repair them if you still like them and they are comfy.

I have this same issue with my 21oz 633s, my all time favorite pair. I had them darned in the crotch and they are so uncomfortable they are almost unwearable.

Inbound, though we have the black already….
@Giles Hi G, inbound as in 'shipped' or 'being produced/shipped anytime now' ? I'd love a tan.

After my last wash on my 33T I noticed a spot that showed up after. I am not really sure what to do about it. It's not bad, but I don't really want it getting out of control. Whats the thoughts on what to do? If anything..
Its where the large arrow is pointing. Im assuming it happened in the wash.

Wabi sabi and all that. Have it darned if you’re worried it will get worse. Railcar fine goods does a lovely darning job
-
The shirt's looking great. I'd say just keep on working away on the graceful evo and it'll distract attention away from the spot just fine.
-
Thanks for the input/conformation!!
Yeah, I’m going to ignore it. Just adds to the shirt.

Here's one… Why is the modified 17oz Duck Type III ten bucks cheaper than the _un_modified 17oz Duck Type III? If the only real difference is the added hassle of manufacturing pockets, then I don't know how that extra step results in a cheaper garment. I imagine it's probably just a result of left-over pricing standards vs newer pricing standards, but it just struck me as a little weird!

Shhhh….. [emoji2958]
But I’d imagine you’re right. Initially the modded version was extant and the trad endangered (although the IHJ-46 has subsequently been restocked), they were also released at different times.
There may well be some «standardising» now [emoji23]

Looks like a bit of loom movement during the weaving process produced some unintended slub by dropping a warp thread. The washing may have puffed up the exposed weft, drawing your attention to it.
I’d also be in the «wabi-sabi/minor flaws are fun» camp. I have something similar on my IH-888-UHR, IH-666L-19 and IHSH-33 and generally enjoy the imperefections in otherwise flawless product. It gets on some peoples tits though.

@neph93 I am regularly amazed by your native-level command of English. Were you raised in an English-speaking environment or something?
…and thanks for your thoughts on the 17oz Duck Type III pricing anomaly!
