Thank you all - these seem to be them - I just have no idea how you access / search them. That doesn’t matter, since they’re here now

Hey, fit check on a pair of 35 888. I got this cut for the thighs. Happy enough with the fit everywhere apart from the waist. I have probably just shy of an inch of extra space right out of the box. Any more stretch and they will be too big.
I'm a little confused by measurements after trying size 34 waists from Samurai/Oni/full count (I appreciate sizes differ from the tag) and some fitting and some not. I think the mid/high rise of this cut makes, what would otherwise be a bang on waist according to measurements, a little too big

@twotouches looks to be a great fit man. They shouldn’t stretch as much being under less tension especially with the belt.

agree with @flannel-slut but you could also put just the top box in hot water (80°C)

So does this mean no Gosport in September?
This year is already booked. A 3rd year n Gosport would be a hard sell.

@twotouches throw em in for a soak. Problem solved.

@Mizmazzle Just the top box like @endo suggested?
So shrink, belt and job done?
How much shrinkage can I expect? I’m a little hesitant because of the price
-
@twotouches I wouldn’t do it because the waist band will be under pressure when your sitting down and will stretch back out again, and you’ll be very unhappy.

@twotouches if that’s regular 21oz selvedge, you won’t get any meaningful shrinkage from soaking, or even washing and drying. If your thighs can take it, consider sizing down. That is, if the waist really bugs you. From the pics you posted, the fit looks pretty good to me. But 21oz denim will do nothing but stretch.
