Think I read somewhere that in order to get 300 pairs of 666xhs (I think it was those) the factory had to make 370 pairs, just wondered what happens to the rejected ones?
haven`t G told you?…
the other 70 pairs go to us guys here on the IH-Forum...for free (or at least with a nice little (thinking big!) discount!) -
A@Lucifer:
I'm looking for a pretty Damascus Steel Folder knife. Any suggestions? Looks-wise, I love this thing:
(obviously not a folder, and that is why I'm not getting it):
Also considering something like this:
http://www.damascusknifestore.com/eshop/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=BO112007DAM
Experiences? suggestions?
My daily "tool"-knife is something as simple as a skeletool.
Damascus is nice, but pricey, and the extra money you pay is disproportionate to the improvement in performance
knifecenter.com has a huge selection of knives, you should be able to find some damascus folders in there

now i know why i got yours…thanks!
I tried contacting them several times and ways to get my knives fixed as they were both less than one (1!) year old when the springs broke… No answer whatsoever, so got my Sebenza (which I love so fucking much), and gave away both my Bökers...

going for an abercombie and fitch interview tomorrow(yeah….......). anyone have any experience?
Smile, speak up, talk professionally, dress sharp and be yourself! Sounds pretty basic stuff but you be surprised how many people fail to do so.
For the love of god don't ask for holidays off In the interview I get that almost 100% these days. Boggles the mind…..

good advice jimmy. think of it as a first date that you have to dress up for & wear no cologne. if you usually use body spay throw it in the garbage and tell no one
oh & try to not talk sh!t about the horrible clothing they sell
mind your manners

I have a handful of tank tops from Abercrombie from 2000 that I still use on a weekly basis at the gym. No frays or rips at all. The branding doesn't bother me, as far as I'm concerned, if someone disapproves of what I'm wearing there, they need to leave. The gym is no place to be giving a crap about anything else other than PT
I haven't retired the gym shirts since I haven't been able to find 100% cotton tanks of that quality yet for less than $20

sorry i didn't want to start a convo about A&F. it's my gift & my curse. really who cares, wear what makes you happy & if your tee shirt lasts ten+ years at that cost then damn it that sounds like a great investment. i was just busting the kids chops, it is what i do. what i neglected to say is good luck on the interview & let us know how it goes.
**i do think alot of those stores are closing, but hopefully the brach that picks you up stays around as long as you want to work there
monday out on a thursday

it`s all love mate…i think every other good "knife-maker" could fix that problem...hopefully!

good pay & flexible hours sound like a dream come true for most people i know. i'm sure you did well on your interview & will be getting the call for your second interview & all that good stuff.
… wore an a&f shirt too damn...
& nothings wrong with an A&F shirt, especially if it helps you land the job

going for an abercombie and fitch interview tomorrow(yeah….......). anyone have any experience?
A friend of mine worked there in school. He loved it, since all he had to do was stand around (literally- they hired him to be some sort of model/mannequin). He hit on the cute girls and got paid to do pretty much nothing.
