Things were a little sketchy that first wear after the soak (they were pretty damn tight before the soak)...so I was slightly second guessing my life choices after I finally got them buttoned. But after a bit, they weren't comfortable, but they weren't uncomfortable...which was a major win in my eyes.
Second day, easier to get on...still not comfortable, but definitely trending in that direction. And the third day, I'd almost say they are comfortable. Once they are on, and I move just a little, they get locked into the right position on my hips...and they are totally good to go. I'm a 777 guy, so finding the right spot for these to sit took me a minute...but I think they are golden now.
Stoked to hear that they are only going to get better from here!

I'm sure this has been asked many times before, but how does this denim compare to UHR (e.g., re breathability, comfort, fading, and shrinkage from raw)?

@JohnM I would say they are similar in terms of breathability but you would struggle with both jeans on a hot day. The comfort factor, you will have to put in some work to get both of these where you want them, slightly more so with the UHR I find, but is known for the amazing fading potential!

Both will shrink, and in our experience, UHR shrinks more than XHS, but shrinkage is not an exact science. Each denim will have product specific details regarding what to expect. The waist will have a tendency to stretch back out to pre-wash sizing where as the inseam will not. We advise to wash or soak UHR and XHS denim prior to hemming so one can remove all the shrinkage. - 9 days later

@ShopatIronHeart seeing as how we're coming to the end of March, is April realistic on a restock? Trying to figure out my budget in case the 526L and the 888-XHS drop close together!
