@FilthyBloodJunkie:
I would mail them off if someone could suggest an appropriate service.

Frothin'! Just got my xhs' in the post today. Bruising of the thumbs and hips occurred on visual contact. Holy shit these are a serious piece of quality denim.
In terms of fit, had to lie down to button up. For anyone interested, my true waist is 32.7 and I ordered a tag 32 and they feel alright. My plan of attack is to wear for a bit before first wash. Let the battle begin.
Fit pics below. Didn't have enough light so had to use my flash.

Thanks brother.
@shredder tight is definitely better. About 3 months of continuous wear and you'll have the softest most comfortable pair of jeans ever. It's like night and day in terms of softness.
-
@shredder that's a great fit, washing the 25oz is always a good idea before wearing them a lot.

I got my pair and they're perfect. Would have been here Saturday but the office was closed, so got here first thing this morning. Ducked off into the bathroom for a quick try on. The waist is perfect sized. I didn't want to struggle with all of the buttons (they are going to destroy my fingers), but I was able to easily get the top button done with just the right amount of pulling. The top block fit is absolutely perfect and I love the rise on them. Not too high, but so much better than the low-rise trend out there.
The starting measurements that I could get done quietly: size 31, waist 32", hem is a hair under 8". My TTS waist size on most denim is about 32.5". So definitely different numbers than on the UK site, and I'm very, very glad I didn't go up to a 32. The legs are still a bit long and a bit wider than I'd like, but I'm going to give these a hot soak and see where they go from there. Rodeo Bros said they shrink about an inch in length and an inch in the waist (from which I'll infer about 1/2" in the hem). That should bring them closer to what I'm looking for. Not worried about the waist shrinkage, as sanforized denim always seems to stretch back out to original waist.
So yeah, these are awesome, and the denim itself is awesome feeling. Unfortunately, these will mostly be a weekend/afterwork jean, as I can't wear jeans to work. But I plan on making it count when I can.

Yeah it's pretty funny. Although, it would take months of begging and panhandling (like I used to do) to afford a pair of Iron Hearts. Haha I still like a lot of the music. But I am also a part of the system I used to hate so much.

Sweet fit Shredder, enjoy.

Thanks everyone for the vote of confidence. Decided to break the rules and wear these to work. To hell with the no jeans policy! Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll send me home. Can already start to feel them loosening up ever so slightly. Probably gonna hot soak them in a day or two. Just for fun here's the heavyweight comparison to a couple of my other raws.
-
Just hung mine up to dry post hot-soak. They were really tough to get inside out both before and then to reverse that. I soaked them in super hot water and I swear I could actually see them contracting in places that the water hit. They were notably shorter when I took them out too. Also, thought to myself, wow, not too much dye loss, then I picked them up and blue just streamed into the water.
Looking to getting started on them. Wearing my 13.5oz Raleigh thin fits right now. Should be a bit of a change.
-
Heh, well, that's what I'm wearing right now. I've been also wearing 18oz denim as well that's super comfortable. But also feels pretty damn thin compared to these.
-
Those look awesome!
Thank you, unfortunately they are too tight and make me suffer unless i'm just walking. They are going to be semi-retired.
-
Those look awesome!
Measured mine post-hot soak. Tag: 31. Waist 32" -> 31", Inseam 35" -> 34", Hem 8" -> 7.5". So more or less exactly what I'd guessed would happen. They are stiff as cardboard, I'll start breaking them in tonight.

Thank you! They shrunk a bit more then main over time. And yes, they are tough at the beginnig, but the denim is getting soft and silky.
