Luckily I managed to survive with only sore left thumb and not blisters ::) but unbuttoning/buttoning when you really had to go sure is a pain.
Damn I remember that! Planning to go to the bathroom in advance then coming out in a sweat afterwards was not cool [emoji1]
Jeans look great.

Don’t worry, once you’ve buttoned and unbuttoned them a few times, it’s a breeze. Just takes a few times to break them in.
-
Speaking of the buttons I think another issue why there is no XHS jacket yet is that the top button hole is already difficult to cut on the right place so the fabric doesn't start fraying after a while (I remember that happening a while ago). I guess that's why the XHS vest has snaps only in the first place. Also maybe H-san doesn't like the look of a Type III with snaps?

I really looking forward to when it happens to mine! But put that aside, I really love the jawns, it is definitely top notch.

Just some random fit pics I took the other day while browsing around.

nice, but did you watch a vhs tape of a girl climbing in a well within the last seven days?
-
Haha are you referring to my blurred face coming from The Ring. - somehow my phone did it intentionally @mikebarhoot

Awesome! Can’t wait for 25oz season.

I just got my first pair and WOW, now I know why the are called the devils cut! Couldn't get the top two of the button fly so I left them open and just used a belt, but after the second day got one more, and after 3rd day I buttoned the top one while the pants were off and then just slid into the pants. I have been wearing them for only 4 straight days and I got complements already. any ideas how to break them in though?
-
@Whats Up Doc I'm sorry, I didn't realise that was your first post.
So first things second, welcome and congrats on your first pair. Excellent choice and well done for diving straight in with the 25oz.
As for the break in, my previous, slightly curt advice stands, there really are no short cuts. Just put them on and wear them for whatever it is you do in jeans. You'll get used to them before they get used to you, but when the latter happens they become like no other item of clothing you've owned.
My first XHS was the 666 like yours, I now have the 888-XHSib as well. They are around the 50 days wear mark and are starting to soften.
-
Yeah man neph93 speaks the truth. It really only takes a few days for them to start stretching a bit and for the button holes to break in and get easier to button. After a few wears they’ll still be stiff, but they’ll be easier to wear and will slowly begin to soften up with every wear. You’ll love wearing them inside of a week, but you’ll REALLY love them after a few months, and they just keep getting better. Congrats on owning the best pair of jeans on the planet.

Wear them. There are no short cuts.
There are however tips and tricks. Example. One should not wear them for the first time and on a drinking binge or “bright idea” convenience store sushi outing. Less one wishes to wash them right off the bat. ask one how they know.

ok its been about a month now and with fairly frequent wear they are starting to mold to my body, they are literally like putting on body armor.these jeans are reminiscent of very heavy starch jeans worn by the rodeo guys out here in Texas! If you are a clothing affectionado, then you must own at least one pair, they are like nothing else in your clothes closet. Been complemented several times and for tall people that cannot find their length, these definitely do the trick.
