IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Going to need some advice. I accidentally sat on a piece of furniture that had some hard glue, but luckily it did not stick that much. Is there a way to get it cleaned? I can throw it into the washing machine and give it a wash, but I would prefer to wear it unwashed as long as possible. I tried rubbing it with a damp cloth, but get it to artificially fade on that particular area which I do not quite like. Any ideas?
I’ve had this happen and, like Neph said, I was able to get it off with some heat. I used a very hot dryer (they weren’t great jeans) and I was able remove it. I believe it did leave a mark, but it faded with time and wear.

I managed to get the most out of it, but ended up leaving a patch that looks artificially faded. Hope this blends with the natural fades over the next months and years. Thanks for all the help!

It's been now 3 months for me with my first ever 25 oZ denim and I guess I found the Holy Grail pants in this cut. I own few other pairs of raw denim and I feel like not picking them at all after wearing this XHS continuously for the last 3 months, every single day. I might post some pictures later on and I'm even considering getting another pair to rotate.

Fades are starting to show up!

I hear you. I have been wearing mine for about the same amount of time and everything else feels weird and thin now. It's like a denim security blanket, haha. Although, I did just pick up the 18oz 634s which are pretty amazing (I couldn't squeeze into the 666 version of the 18oz).

Threw my pair in the wash after 2 months of constant wear, washed them (mostly) following @Filthy ‘s method. I’ve noticed these don’t stiffen up nearly as much as the 21oz’s do after air drying, and are softer quicker after the wash. so hope my honeycombs return, but it’s not the end of the world if they don’t.

^ That is some good amount of fading going on in just 2 months of wear. I have been donning mine for 3 months and the electric blues are nowhere yet to be seen.

Just 4 days short of hitting 100 days of wear. I have never worn any piece of clothing unwashed for these many days at a stretch and I like this way of living environment friendly with my XHS.
I need to now create a proper wear / fade log.

My 666 XHS stand at roughly 5 months of almost daily wear.

I have a question regarding the fade that is happening around the knee. Here is a picture of where it stands:
As it can be seen that my knee is actually where my finger points to, but the fades happen well below my knee and I don't understand if there is a relationship between inseam and the tension areas around the knee when I'm on my knees to do some work. Yesterday, I had to mount some furniture for which I had to be on my knees for quite some time and you can see that when bending, the pants gets pulled in and ends up touching the ground well below the knee area. Any ideas if there is any inseam factor in this?

I have seen something similar on some pairs of my pre-IH jeans. I think part of what's going on is the legs getting pulled up a up bit when you're kneeling (as you mentioned). Another thing is that when you kneel, you probably don't kneel on the front part of your knee (the most prominent part when you're standing) but a bit lower down. I guess this depends on the shape of your legs, but try putting your hand where you're pointing and kneel down without moving your hand. I expect your hand will only just touch the ground - it won't be between your knee and the floor. The combination means there the fades are below the knee when you stand.
Sorry if that's a bit long. Maybe others will have more insight of the specific effect of the inseam. Maybe more dependent on the general fit above the knee than the inseam?
