@Matt Your loyalty paid off,and by not abandoning ship, you sail into the next round and say goodbye to @steelworker who was hoping to mock you. I think he’ll be reading The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe tonight. Fun fact I used to hang out in Poe Park in the Bronx. The Bengals gave @Alex a belated birthday present by beating the Jets and sending him into the next round. The Colts bounced back bouncing the 3 Stooges,Me @SKT and @pmadison95 out of the pool. @Twistlock rolls on into the next round as the Eagles rolled over the Commanders. Have to see how @scooter does in the late game.

That's what I get for sentiment.
I think Lamar is feeling better. ??? -
SF- Denver game a shambles. 11-10 final. Anybody got Denver

Talk about taking one for the team…. @Alex makes the Dolphins his pick against his favorite Bengals, knowing full well that his reverse Mojo would kick in and the Bengals would win,and Alex would be out. I think Alex would make that trade every week for the rest of the season. He also got a little extra help by me saying I expected the Dolphins to remain undefeated. Need a pick from @Matt

I don't understand how the league would even let a team put a player in a two-concussions-in-five-days scenario. Should not have continued to play Sunday or played last night.
Friggin blood sport. The broader problem of CTE is difficult to navigate, but this should have been easy: concussion = miss the next couple of games at least (not a neurologist, just throwing out an idea). If Tua passed the concussion protocols last Sunday, the protocols are simply wrong.
Hope the kid is OK–this could be a life-changing injury and should never have happened.
Shame on the NFL and shame on McDaniel and the Dolphins. And you still lost.

@mclaincausey But his injury the week prior was just his back (insert the largest eye roll in history here).
-
Fan smack talk aside, Tua seems like a great kid and I agree @mclaincausey if a player is hurt, let 'em sit out and recover. Really should be that simple.

Watching Tua seize up like that was brutal! Made my stomach turn. I have a feeling the Dolphins are in for a huge fine. Seems odd that there isn’t an independent doctor in charge of on field concussion evaluations. I’ve heard they have “spotters” that are leave appointed that watch from the sidelines or something that are supposed to help with this. Huge F up on this one. I hope the kid doesn’t suffer long term damage.
However, I hope the Broncos bring the pain to the Raiders this Sunday!!!
