legend! here's to a speedy recovery ️

Here is an absolute classic.
Earlier this week I ordered a 5G SIM for the boat from O2.
I tracked it and it said it was delivered on Wednesday. It wasn't delivered to the home, so today I went into the office and it was not there either.
Conversation with O2 Customer Support Agent (CSA), I will only relate the key points, as this took 40 minutes.
G - My SIM has not turned up
CSA - Please can you confirm who you are
G - (Answered a myriad of questions)
CSA - We can send you a new one
G - Can you send it to a new address as your delivery company obviously can't find my house
CSA - No
G - So we could be having this discussion again in a week
CSA - That's just the way it is. Please confirm your address
G - You have my address in the original order
CSA - We cant use that without you verifying it
G - I just wasted 10 minutes of my life verifying everything else on the order which you have in front of you
CSA - You could just walk into an O2 shop and get a new one
G - The nearest O2 shop is an hours walk and a ferry ride away, that is why I ordered one online
CSA - Please confirm your address
G - (which I reluctantly did)
CSA - I have ordered a new one, it will be with you in 3 days
Paula - Did I hear you say SIM?
G - Yes
Paula - One was delivered on Thursday
G - What the fuck, where is it?
Paula - On the kitchen table
G - What this plain envelope with a grocery shopping list on it, which when you turn it over (but why would you?) says "O2 SIM inside"?
Paula - Yes
G - Dear CSA agent my friggin wife hid it, I am so sorry. Can we cancel the new order
CSA - No, you will have to wait for the new one to arrive -
oh boy
-
That is very approximately what I said…..
"OH FUCK" would've been more accurate.
HAHA. between you and the CSA agent, I'm not sure much finding or thinking was done.
-
That CSA sounds like someone who relishes being difficult.
Call me Karen, cos I'd have to ream out their manager.

…seems like there's a lot of folks here on the forum getting roughed up lately, I was bit by a spider a month ago that turned into Cellulitis. Day 8-9 of the antibiotics and had an allergic reaction. ::) (itchy rash) :o All good now.
...Life is dangerous and tomorrow is promised to no one.
Good luck out there Iron Hearter's I'm praying for ya! ( now where's that sage ) -
I had a fun interaction with the people at our local amusement park. I asked for 3 adults and one child. They charged me for four adults and a child. I asked them to refund the extra adult and was told sorry we don’t do refunds. You can use the ticket the next time you come. I won’t bore you with the rest of the exchange but it ended with my 10 yr old telling my wife “Dady’s pretty scary.”

Good luck out there Iron Hearter's I'm praying for ya! ( now where's that sage )I got bit by a black widow once at the Rails Inn, in Montana. I poked it with my knife and squeezed it all out. I kept Neosporin on it until it healed. I had a hole in my arm a while, but it is tiny now. You can barley see it because of my tattoo. I hope it heals okay for you buddy.
