Kinda let down by Red Fang, maybe my mood was off, but I wasn't quite feeling it. Holy shit, though, Off! fecking killed it. Keith Morris is a GAWD!!! If you like Seventies Doom Metal, one band that really surprised, I think most people in my festival group was The Sword. Definitely going to have to spin their album some more.

PS, tried to take a pic for MaxPower of the Off! set, and I didn't realize till afterwards that I got a long ass video of my pocket…

Can any who's into Man or Astroman let me know their favourite album. I know it's old shit, but I've just started getting into it!
I've always enjoyed Is It… Man or Astroman? the most

Totally spontaneous, Rory and Bela had never played together before and this makes the hairs stand on my neck every time i hear it.

Shit = officially lost. Joe = officially old as balls. Show was insane. I had a blast. I was smashing around like a teenager and Damian was on my damn shoulder for a minute. Such great energy.
I've never scream/sang that loud into a live mike, but he kept handing it over and I kept shouting lyrics until I ran out of breath.

New Neurosis and Neil Young records are very solid.

Re the latter, got Psychedelic Pill over the weekend for my birthday and it's great. You cannot go wrong with a 27 minute opening song!! Started reading Waging Heavy Peace as well - the two are terrific companion pieces.

Hendrix rocking an SG on a mellow Red House. Jimi is better known for his full tilt craziness but to me this is where he shines. Anyone who has ever tried to learn blues lead guitar like me will see ol Jimi had some pretty sophisticated things going on in his blues. Badassed
