Great fit. I was unaware of that jacket’s existence. Great find!

Your fit looks great, too! I'm so happy that it's finally cool enough to wear.

Nice score, both of you! That length is spot on perfect

Yeah seriously. Reissue obviously needed!

Is this the flagship 21oz ?

Very cool sabergirl! I am the previous owner of the jacket. It definitely fits you better than it did on me, and I'm glad it found a home where it will be worn and loved.
I don't post on forums much these days, but I wanted to share more details since I happened to come across your post.
When I originally bought the jacket in 2016, I DM'ed Giles for more details on the fabric. His reply is:
"It's sanforised and one washed. Giles"This is the listing from when I purchased it. Whatever wear there is on the jacket was done by previous owners and not me.
https://www.grailed.com/listings/1281421-iron-heart-type-3-wool-lined-denim-jacket-ih-7526-jIt is 21oz, as shown in the leather patch. I own a pair of 19oz Samurai S710XX, and I can confirm that the IH-7526j is noticeably heavier.
I never wore the 7526j as much as I initially planned as it's not cold enough where I live in California year-round. I recently purchased this 13oz Momotaro Type II I've been searching for since I sold the 7526j. Its lower weight and lack of blanket-lining will make it more wearable for me. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Nice, Joog . Thanks for the shout. My impression is there are very few of these out in the world. I love that it has a blanket lining, but doesn’t have a cord collar like others of this style.
Ideally I would have a 40 or maybe even 42, as this one is a bit snug for layering, but unless Paul9221 decides he wants to part with his, there’s little chance of that.
