Peacoats

I'd love to hear from those of you who wear a peacoat in winter.  Who's else is serving up the Boss?  Real McCoys? Pvt.White? Schott? Billy Reid's Bond? Anybody have the Pvt.White "Bridge Coat", which is sort of a longer version?

I bought my Schott Peacoat in Dublin in 1997, been wearing it every Winter since.
Great bit of kit.
Between this and my IH Deck Jackets I doubt I will ever need another Winter jacket!

Truth be told, the WWII peacoat that I got at a vintage shop is one of the best outerwear pieces I’ve ever had.

I imagine the IH one is probably stellar. I know there’s a few fold around here that have one.

I have a charcoal Bond that I like, but it's not perfect by a long shot. It looks great but my real complaint is that it's unlined. I personally like coats to have more structure, and I get that they've done this to cut down on bulk, but there's something about sliding into some satin-lined sleeves that feels fantastic, and the Bond is missing that. Plus if you ever wear a t-shirt under it, it's very scratchy.

I had an APC peacoat for years that was really pretty damn ideal, but I just wore it to death and retired it when I got the Bond. I miss it.
