@Paul9221 Dang it does look good cuffed. I didn’t know how well the creases would set, being a lighter material.

RE: IHJ-124-BRN - 10oz Herringbone Work Jacket - Brown
Anyone know any online tailors that could shorten these sleeves? I reallllllly love this jacket but my T-Rex arms just won’t abide. My tailor won’t touch snaps.

RE: Getting olive oil out of denim?
Carry some crusty bread with you and just dab it on your pants when you need a snack.

@Matt that’s all thanks to the mommy blogs. Anytime I have a concern about fabric, I head to the mommy blogs lol.

It also works on Goo Gone. Got some caulk on a new pair of RGTs and the goo gone worked wonders, then the corn starch removed the goo gone.

RE: IHSH-348-GRN - 9oz Selvedge Ombré Check Western Shirt - Green
@iammortalcombat I look like a kid in court who has never worn a dress shirt before lol. My tailor would shorten the sleeves on a work shirt. He doesn’t do alterations on snap shirts, he recommended a woman in town who will, but I’m guessing the snaps wouldn’t be the same quality.
@T4920 ok I can work with that. Thank you!

RE: IH-526J-SLBod - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Type III Jacket - Overdyed
Freshly washed. Slow fader for me, you can only really see the change in the sun. I’ve been wearing it consistently (unless it’s Deck Jacket weather) for a few months.

Thank you! I haven’t nailed down fabric weights in my mind yet. I’m glad to see there is a work shirt version. My tailor won’t touch the snaps and my broad chest and trex arms don’t really agree with the westerns.

So I am new to the world of caring about what weight clothes are lol. What temp range would most people consider 9oz for? I’ve been wanting some plaid pearl snaps and ombré is my jam.

RE: How Do I Create A New Thread?
Ahh ok. I remember it suddenly becoming available to me on the old platform and being surprised. Oh well, thank you!

I’m having an issue with the New Thread button in the BST forum as well. I was able to make a listing before the switch.

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
May not be tailored enough for you but I bought a beautiful navy moleskin chore coat from Drakes. Also tried on their denim one, which was very very nice but on the grounds that I already had a denim IH one I did not get it.

Chore coats are a little boxy for me, plus hand warmers are a must. Thank you though!

RE: Mister Freedom
I’m curious if anyone has had one of the teacore campus jackets long enough to have some fading? Really curious about its appearance.
I THINK the VEB leather gent on IG has one?

I’ve seen his Natural which looks amazing. I guess from the description I’m afraid it will age like a cheap bonded leather couch. Chips and cracks instead of fading like denim. But examples of other teacore jackets I can see on google images look fantastic.

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
I’m letting my M65 go because it’s a little tight in the biceps and it’s a little long for my torso aesthetically (in my head). What’s a good in between jacket? My Type 3 is very fitted so it’s a solo piece, I can kinda squeeze a UHF in there. And Texas has been too warm the last few weeks for my N1.
I would prefer IH but I’m open to other brands. I have a Freenote waxed Rider I’m selling on eBay because it’s just so boxy on me, I prefer a more tailored look. I really like Mister Freedoms take on Pea Coats, but they don’t have any in my size. Just an idea of what I like aesthetically.
Thanks!

RE: IHM-27-OLV - Sateen M-65 Field Jacket - Olive
did u size down when you place the order?
From my UHF size, yeah. But I got the same size N1 and it fits like a dream. I feel like if I sized up on the M65 it would be too big everywhere else.

RE: IHM-27-OLV - Sateen M-65 Field Jacket - Olive
I got mine today and I love it…mostly. Fits great in the shoulders and chest, ample space in the stomach. But I don’t know if I will be able to keep it, the armpits and top bicep are kinda tight. I’m gonna wear it when weather allows to try it out, but the tight areas are very tight with a UHF, it will make layering a challenge.

RE: IHM-37-ODG - Oiled Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Olive Drab Green
The temps took a dip here in East Texas and I am a happy fella! We have a low of 12 one day this week so it’s going to busy week for the N1!

RE: Merz beim Schwanen
Not sure if you're hanging em to dry, but getting some non-shoulder-bump hangers helps. Normal hangers will definitely cause bumps, but not sure if that's what caused em on your tee.
It was from the packaging, it got a little better after a wash. I lay tshirts flat to dry unless it’s a thick graphic tee. Old habit from mainly wearing merino.

RE: Merz beim Schwanen
@CrowRobot my 2S14 has the shoulder points too. I'm thinking they will dissipate with wear & washing.
It’s not too bad I guess, the shirt is so comfortable, it makes up for the little shoulder peaks lol.
