@WhiskeySandwich Wow! Those almost look like indigo or 142ib in that light.

RE: IH-777S-142bb - 14oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Black/Black
@Lowlander These look great!! May I ask: how long did you wear them to achieve this?
Also, do you find the 142bb to be hot? Some have said the broken twill 14 oz is more breathable. Curious to hear your take as someone who has clearly put the work in to this pair.
Congrats and I look forward to following how they evolve!

WTB black or overdyed 777 in 36
Looking for something like 142od (ideally) or 142bb. Just need some dark Iron Hearts to compliment my indigo pair.

RE: IHSH-397-IND - 21oz Sashiko Work Shirt - Indigo
I picked up the last XXXL from Self Edge in Austin today. Tried on XXL and it fit with a t-shirt. But I wanted something roomy enough to wear a hoodie underneath. I just like a looser fit.
For reference I’m an XXL in UHF work shirt and and XXXL in the CPO IHSH-293-OD. I’m 6 ft tall and weigh 200 lbs.
My naive question: I don’t understand how it’s 21 oz when a UHF is 12 oz. Is it just a more dense fabric than the thrice brushed heavyweight flannel?
Either way, this shirt feels like it has some magic in it. Can’t wait to see how it ages over the years.

@bonguno looks great! I’d go relaxed fit too. How warm is it?

RE: The Red W
@goosehd I finally worked up the courage to try this, and yes, it totally works with a seam ripper. I also used tweezers to pluck away at the threads and bits. Thanks @Mister_Brue for the tip.
For anyone else trying this, the key is that the label is made of a much more fragile fabric than the stitches or the denim, at least on my IHSH-293-OD. Just have to slowly and carefully fray the label and it will gradually break away as you use the seam ripper to break up the threads and pluck away at them with tweezers.

@meatmarketdenim1 Thanks man! And now I see earlier in the thread of course they list the stockists.
How warm was it? Would you compare to a UHF?

@meatmarketdenim1 looks great! Did you hear anything about self edge stocking this? Nothing on their website yet. I’m in Austin where they’ve had a store for a few months now.

@T4920 said in IHSH-397-IND - 21oz Sashiko Work Shirt - Indigo:
@Mizmazzle very, very warm.
Interesting. Would you compare it to a UHF in terms of warmth?

How fast do we think these will sell out after they launch on Monday?

RE: IHSH-62-ind - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo
@FlavourFade good to know! Do you ever wish you went down to XL given how roomy it is? Sounds like you and me are similarly sized.

@goosehd Ah got it. Thank you

RE: The Red W
@goosehd Right, that much I understand. I must admit that I don't quite understand how to remove the tag from around the stitches without cutting the stitch. Seems next to impossible, but I realize it's not because people do it.

RE: The Red W
@Oroccoco I've searched but been unable to find an answer. What is your process for removing those tags? How do you cut the tag to the seam without cutting the seam? I'd love the stealth look of no branding but I don't want to ruin a $500 shirt!

RE: IHSH-62-ind - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo
I have the IHSH-293-OD in XXXL. Comparing sizing charts, it seems like I should buy the 12oz Wabash Western in XXL for a similar fit. Does that make sense? Is the IHSH-293-OD a tighter fit because of the overdying?
Thanks!
