So for the flannels with the selvedge detail, I have to ask... Was the flannel fabric made from a shuttle loom?

Had to break this out from the archives.
xx-010 Purple Face denim. Got it in 2016 and have worn it sparingly. Now that I'm rotating through denim, it's getting its chance to shine.
And today I learned, this was a thing! I would have loved 1-3 of these in the black herringbone.
The long hair is gone. Quickly got my camera and light for this.
This was accidental. A result of bad judgement. I was supposed to get my hair cut to shoulder length. And the initial cut was good!
Then I thought I could go shorter. That was a big mistake. I couldn’t walk out into public looking like a Polly Pocket figure. So pre-pandemic haircut it is!

Depending on details, I'd probably be down.
@JunkPants uprooting your life to win a denim competition .
I had to compare the responses here and on the results post on IG and I have to mostly agree with this thread.
Probably a better thread to post this in.
If you have an engineer boot that's slim enough, you also can wear engineer boots with the 32oz denim! It will take some finessing, but is doable.
Boot pictured is the Mr. Lou olive waxed flesh from Standard and Strange.
@Louisclsu1 I'm very jealous! I have a soft spot for Type II denim jackets and this one from PBJ I would have loved to have.

Feel like i should have stopped watching that show around the john lithgow days.
Same. If it ended there, it would have went down as the best show ever.
Just a picture of the patch on my 32oz denim
With the invitational over, I'm enjoying my denim rotation, giving every pair at least 2 weeks of wear (at least trying to). This cycle, it's the 32oz denim!
There's no chance I'm getting the 40oz one. Very few will be made, and in their livestream reveal, they said it'd cost at least $2k. If the price doesn't dissuade anybody, the limited quantity is not going to help either.
Edit: Showing my work in regards to the $2k price for the 40oz denim. It's around the 20:35 mark
One good. The other had too much hot water
@Mister_Brue My voting list just got super easy
If you want to stick with cuffing, here's a list of cuffs you could play around with. https://www.okayamadenim.com/blogs/news/5-ways-to-cuff-your-jeans-with-boots.
@denim-dawg indeed. Live and learn. My Y5 pair can definitely accommodate my engineer boots.
@denim-dawg It was definitely fun to wear.
I have a small place in my heart for G3 denim. It's 15 ounces, so not too heavy. It's also got some nice slubby texture, which I very much enjoy!
My only qualm was that I couldn't wear engineer boots with this pair because of the fit of the jeans, but that part i could have done my homework better on.
@Mister_Brue definitely not bad at all.
