Not necessarily today as I’m spending the day resting at home sleeping. But for the last 6 weeks been traveling to a neighbor island for work.

For those that don’t know, I live on the island of Oahu which is an overpopulated island. Lots of transplants wanting to push their agenda. Military has done their job effing up everything. Traffic always bad, & neighbor islanders who visit Oahu for medical or other reasons complain everyone is mean. I always apologize cuz the real ones ain’t mean assholes. The real ones are always loving. We know who they are the instant we talk to them. The sad thing is that problem doesn’t exist on other islands. As someone who travels for work and play, it’s evident. Not going deep into it, but here’s some shots of the easy going-ness

@Travis love cuffs of all sizes especially when they show off the chainstitch hem, some fading on the selvedge, & roping if they develop.

@Goz as mentioned not much shrinkage if at all. But I will add that I tend to wash & dry aggressively on medium-high spin which did cause slight tightening in the waist but of course it stretched back to starting measurement and then some, and about 1/4” shorter on the inseam.

New pair is 555, but love the contrast between new & worn.

It was my 38 bday sometime this week & my favorite human planned my favorite things - quality time, watching the sunset near the ocean, goooood food (not pictured), & fireworks. Been quite busy lately, so glad we could spend time together.

Been careful up till today machine washing this pair to avoid the dreaded crease fades. They were also on slow spin, but didn’t pre-soak which typically helps avoid these marks. Annoyed atm, but oh well they’ll fade away eventually if continually worn & washed.

@iamjustdanny as others have already said, you can get away with more than you think. Just stop thinking

A few weeks ago a bill was passed in the state which allows open carry for blades that were once banned…automatics, butterflies, etc.

Picked up a few autos that I’ll test and use at work - Microtech (middle) & Boker (far right). The Chavez 229 (far left) was on sale for $199 so got one for me & one for my dad. Already used the 229 in the photo which handled some odds and ends beyond boxes and packages when my utility knife was mia at work - cutting/scoring material such as wood, drywall, straps, shims, rope, vinyl, etc. Handled everything like a champ.

I don’t care for technicalities when it comes to what blades are used for what, if it’s sharp and it’s meant to cut I’m going all in.
