It looks cool, but I’m not sure I would want to sew up the folded part of the hat. It may compromise stretch and movement in the crown of your hat.

Charts look similar, for sure! Slightly lower rise, especially in the back.

I machine washed cool and tumble-dried hot, and there wasn’t really any noticeable shrinkage. Maybe a slight tightening, but not an inch

I don’t know, @Aetas the 148 came out with a new 12oz (from the forum thread) in 2016. These caps got made in 2012. I still think it’s a batch of 07 fabric. I love your spirit of sleuthing! ️‍️

It’s my the 91 12oz—that is a distinctly different pattern. It’s like the 107 I think.
