WESCO

Looking forward to seeing the factory when I'm in Oregon this coming October, love the fact the Oregon
has no sales tax as well… -
just watch out for all the hipsters and their indiscriminate usage of irony at any given time.
-
Will do guys, from the pics I've seen of the factory it appears to be somewhat in the sticks…No coffee
places = no hipsters hopefully. -
Has anyone tried Wesco's custom fit service? Was it successful?
I've got weird feet (wide at the front, narrow at the heel), so it would be a good option for me. I'm just a bit nervous about getting it right.
I've used the custom fit service twice. I have a high instep on my right foot, and feet similar to yours. If the boots aren't right, they'll work with you to get them right. Both pairs of my Wescos (Boss and Jobmaster) were spot on. Hope that helps.

They are some of the friendliest guys you can meet. They will work with you to get it right, no need to worry.
Not exactly a build from scratch but I just had my Wesco's jobmasters rebuilt and it was a week turn around. They came back looking brand new. Incredible boot co.

What are the oxfords below called?
Damn you, Rocket… Those Jobmasters are wonderful. I've never looked at WESCO before I saw your pair. Was gonna save up for some White's Cougars with the much dreaded Vibram wedge sole, but now I'm not so sure anymore.
Those look great too imo...

JH Classics lace to toe is my guess

in case someone like these and is a US 11E rush over to http://www.mrmuddandmrgold.com they have one pair left for a super steal price of €234 -20% if you use the code "summer discount" and possible (not 100% sure, but guess so) minus VAT if you live outside Europe!!!

how would one build out a custom pair like these ??? :
I really dig the overall look
I think these are the build that's only available to the Japanese market. You could try a motor patrol toe, standard stitching, standard motor patrol heal height, standard instep strap, and black leather. That might get you there. If you email the picture to Bakers, they'll be able to get it made for you. Hop that helps.

Thank you very much, it does indeed help! Are these the Wesco Narrow Engineers only available in Japan? I had no idea, I just saw the pic on superfuture and wanted them immediately
I would definitely lengthen the straps by an inch or two if I go with a custom build.

fuck, now I need an engineer boot….

Those are not the Narrows, lacking triple stitching, old wesco stamp, and higher stacked heel, and i don't think that is black fire leather. You could easily make the boot you posted in Wesco custom. You can nearly make the Narrow, but Wesco won't (from my attempt) put the highliner heel on an engineer with MP toe and last, Japan has the exclusives to that combination for now.
