Go to South America motherfucker I live in the tundra and winter ain't no joke up here! Plus I like my pool.
-
Snow in MN = annoyance. Some of it is high quality pow pow and you're just like "what a waste." Best you can do is hit some "blue" slopes that are a few hundred yards long.
Seems like half my friends live in Denver. Lucky bastards. MTB, ziplining, hiking, fishing, camping all summer, skiing all winter.

People who stop at the top of an escalator and just look around because they are not sure where they need to go./ GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY
-
This reminds me of another idiocy; those assholes to go to the market and open the transparent freezer door, letting all the cold air out while they browse. Hey fucktard, the door is transparent for a reason, but thanks for melting all the ice cream.

Today, the American justice system taught me something. If you want to murder an unarmed teenager, or your two year old baby. just move to Florida!!
that verdict sucked balls big time…really don't have a single percentage of understanding, why the fuck the jury acted like that. un-fucking-belivable
(sry if this might fall under the "no politic talk" rule, but i had to at least comment on this!)

I got sent a programming test by a potential client (via an agency) on Friday. The requirements were to write a simple Android app to do the following:
-
Open a connection to the company's website and pull a web page down.
-
Parse the HTML to extract employee data.
-
Download employee portraits from the location specified
-
Write a simple UI to display this, which is designed to cope with devices of differing resolutions.
-
And, optionally, display the portraits in a circle, rather than as a square.
The expectation is that this will take two to three hours. Even assuming each of the above will take an hour, I'd guess at twice that. Plus I'd need a bit of time to update my laptop's development environment, which is currently running six to twelve months old software, and that can take time.
I saw a few of these things last year, and they always take a lot longer than expected. But that's always the case.
The really annoying thing is that I frequently am asked to do these tests before I actually speak to the client, and then hear nothing back. So I'm starting to get a bit more militant about it.
