The Flat Head
-
Took this jacket for myself from The Flat Head. The DJ-008 jacket is made with English White Duck down filling (90% down, 10% feathers). 100% nylon exterior & treated for added water resistance.
The inside is made of quilted rayon. reminds me of the lining of a Lewis Leathers jacket. The neck boa is made of acrylic and other details include inner ribbing, original FH zippers, and patches.
Ready for winter now. The Italians aren't going to be only stylish skiers this winter -
I usually don't jump on impulse buys, but the indigo/cream houndstooth heavy flannel looks wicked nice. Damn damn damn, I should have shown restraint, but I imagine they will sell out quick. First purchase from Rivet and Hide.

I imagine that it will be the first of many. You won't be disappointed :).

Indeed, what a gorgeous looking shirt. The craftsmanship looks exceptional, as always with TFH. I had one of their deerskin leather shirts briefly (after the various IHAS-01s I had made didn't work for me) and it was probably the most exquisite item of clothing I ever owned. Sadly the sizing just didn't work so I had to return it. Anyway - great shirt Danny, I am sure it will be a great seller.

See this horse hide one bk? Siiiiick…
-
Stop it :). I've been looking on Rakuten for a while now, ever since I decided that the next IH collaboration leather shirt would be too much for my wallet…
-
Babyknight, just buy it already, trust me you'll love it. I loved the look of your Native Check western shirt. Are you still wearing it?
-
Hi Kyle, thanks for your note. Yes I love that Native Check western and do still wear it! One of my favorite shirts for sure.
-
Indigo / cream houndstooth arrived today. Fits well. Would have fit better if I hadn't just downed a monster burrito
Super soft brushed on the inside.
-
Damn, stop telling me how wonderful it is :(. Looks a great fit on you though :).
-
I definitely would've picked this shirt up but I can tell that the pattern is something I really like in person but I feel is a little too harsh on the eyes from far away.
-
Hey Ben, lend me the money and I'll wear it for you
( drunken joke by the way :))

That was my worry too. It needs some hard wear to soften the pattern. In the meantime I will enjoy and just go with the flashiness

Looks great Suimm3rhays. Can't wait to see how this fabric tones down and fades. Enjoy the boldness while it lasts.

When Junior tried this shirt he said it felt like being wrapped in a celestial cloud. Not sure if he's up for product write ups yet but he might be onto something there.
-
The "orange" (which to my eye looks red and black) variant is a bit softer visually. I prefer the indigo/cream though.
-
Mp you sneaky bastard ;). I am interested in seeing what this looks like after it's been worn a while…
And I'm pretty sure it's a combination of the white part and the very sharp small pattern that makes it a little to much for me.

It is so insanely soft. I tried to capture just how fuzzy it is on the inside, but it was too much for the iphone. The indigo is lighter in color than the pictures convey. Thanks again Danny, you made the whole process a little too easy. I'll definitely be buying more from Rivet and Hide in the future

Stop telling me how nice it is!! I can't afford to buy it at the moment :(.

MP you are partially to blame for my impulse buy. Your killer UES flannel is what took me to the site to begin with.
