IH-634S-BLK - Black 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jean
-
I think he meant the color. Looks indigo at a quick glance
-
It may be an illusion, but it looks like more weft is visible on the black ones.
-
Given the measurement table, I would probably size down one from my normal W31 too. Tagged 30? Definitely vanity sized in the waist, although by the looks of it all other dimensions would tighten up AND that might not be a bad thing!
-
Here comes the sizing questions, i'm a 32 IH-634S, should I go down to a 31 on these?
Yes I would.
-
Nice! Is it designed to fade into some black/blue color?
-
definitely interested… it seems like the rise is lower than the MBBs. I was getting a BUNCH o wedgies with those- will this reduce this? I don't really want to get another pair of jeans if im gonna be pickin at my butt all day

They have a lower rise yes. But as to whether you'll be picking at your butt all day in these, I have no idea…..

hm. might have to just say f it and go with it

I find that jeans and pants that give me wedgies, it's often due partially to the thigh measurement, and not just dependent on the rise. Every person moves and wears their pants differently, though. Have you had this problem with any other jeans that you own? I don't have experience with Busters, but my 634S never ride up.

Temptation mounts….these would look great with my blk 33 & blk 71...thanks for the large supply. I have time
-
Looks to my eye very similar to the non-selvedge used in the 1634. Would love to see those two denims together.
-
I have no 21oz black non-selvedge here to compare it with, But the 634 (non "S") and 1634 denims are produced on the same projectile looms and the 21oz black selvedge and 21oz indigo selvedge are produced on the same shuttle looms.
So, if we assume that the relationship between the "S" and the non "S" denims are the same, then the 1634 denim will be a lot smoother and have more inconsistency in it than the 634S-blk denim.
