The Real McCoys

Thanks boys,
the wool is mildly scratchy. Superdenim says it's Merino, and maybe it is, but in past experience Merino has been softer for me. Perhaps that has to do with processing though.
It sounds like I'm complaining, but I'm not, I love the knit; it has a wonderful texture and character and I think it will age extremely well. I am wearing a 40 in the picture and I couldn't be happier with the fit. I wear Medium or Large in Iron Heart shirting, Medium in the Tees. It fits over shirting like the IHSH-35 pictured and under a snug A-2–the raglan construction is perfect for that.
The Talon bell zipper is exactly the same one they used in my A-2. As you can see the ribbing is cool looking too. I cannot recommend this enough. I got this one for $300, which IMO is a steal.

$300? Second hand or new?

I have no clue why those engineers are so much… 1750 is fucking insane. and those aren't even the cordovan versions!
-
Second hand, but impossible to tell, had the bag but not the tags.

The fact that they can afford to mark that down 800 is so sketchy to me, I'd be afraid to buy anything of theirs. Sick jacket though!

Tate and Yoko had a Flat Head double rider cheaper than you could get it in Japan a while back.

FYI The new english web shop of Real McCoy's JP is now open: http://www.therealmccoys.nagoya

I found a J100 with the padded shoulders in 14 oz Berlin yesterday.
Unfortunately it's not mine…
-
Do you prefer and/or have a need for padded shoulders? If not, the non-padded J100 is cleaner.
