The Real McCoys
-
My RMC J-100 fits trim/tight everywhere except the shoulders – the jacket has broad shoulders. If you have large biceps, you could have a problem.
-
So depressed… I received a measurement from Lewis at SD of the width of the bicep on a 44 he had in stock, 7 inches...x2 is 14 inches, and my upper arm is 14.5 inches...won't fit. That's crazy, the chest and shoulders would be perfect! I wish they could take the sleeves of a 46 and attach them to the 44...
-
Himel makes a similar jacket from the same Shinki HH. He might be able to modify the biceps.

Graeme, are you typically a size 44 or 46? I know you said the 46 plain was a tad big in the chest and shoulders, did you feel it looked big on you or would it suit you ok? If you don't mind, what is your dimensions? I'm actually in the US, wonder if 14oz would ship internationally???
-
I tend to sit between a size 44 and 46 in jackets, depending on the brand. My chest is about 44", but I'm relatively big in the shoulders. In IH, I'm typically an XXL.
I think that the 46 would work, and is the size I'd go for if I was getting an RMC jacket. If you're worried about fit then get the padded model.
No idea if 14 oz would ship overseas. It might be worth dropping them an email to ask.
-
@bigsak22 If you're in Europe then give 14 oz a shout. As I said earlier they had 30% off the RMC J100 a couple of weeks back.
Provided you don't live on a diet of steroids and spinach, you'll probably be OK with the arms on the plain version. The padded jacket was a bit snug there.
They claim that double rider is made of Cordovan. What a turn-off.
-
Agreed.
That model looks really dumb too. I'll never get the clean and conservative haircut with face tattoos look.
-
I received a Real McCoys M-65 overdyed black a couple of weeks ago, and I have been living in it ever since. Great jacket.
-
Very cool coat. The overdye is a great change that still retains the classic look!
My bucos are lookin realllll nice.

Is that the overdyed tigerstripe m65? Would it be possible to post some detail pics of the fabric when you get a moment? Im really keen to see how it evolves!

So…. I tried this number on at inspiration...
It fit like a glove, easy to zip up, and felt spectacular. From the front its perfect, but from the back I thought it looked a tad long. Thoughts? If they had a teacore black though I probably would've bought it. This was navy.

^ I tried on, and purchased, that same number at Inspiration last year (in black).
This year, I tried on, and purchased, this one:
Also picked up this shirt:
And this sweat top:

@grandmasterben I was expecting the punch line to be that you walked away with it, doesn't fit better than that!
-
Ben, IMHO the sleeves are a tad too short.
-
Thanks for the input… but honestly, i was pleasantly surprised by the sleeve length. I like my sleeves to not be touching my hands (drives me crazy.)
The ease of which the sleeves fit and the body zipped makes me think that a size bigger would def be too big.
I really like the long sleeve t btw!
-
Cop. A lifetime of satisfaction awaits. Humbly, my drunk ass…

I agree, once the creases set you definitely will have zero chance of them touching your hands, And if sizing up means the shoulders and the body are too big, then it's not the cut for you…
