@Finn666 looks good ….were did you find an XL ? waiting for one if you decide to move it ...
-
@Finn666 it's too big. It's not super oversized but you won't wear it cause you not going like the fit in a few months of it hanging in your closet . . . but I don't know much hahahaha
-
i guess you know what you're talking about mate @madmonday
gonna think it over again and then i'll decide about what to do…gonna let you know o/course @theorocks -
Work shirts aren't supposed to fit tight. I think it's fine and will get better with a soak or wash.

It is not too big. Work shirts are supposed to have more room. Also, it will shrink a touch when it gets washed. Also, too, look at how it fits in the arms, people. Rafa's gonna lose circulation in his hands if those sleeves get any tighter.
-
yawn, I answer the question the way I want to. I'm not one for the circle jerk great fit. besides, what counts is what he thinks & the fit he is going for . . . not the fit you all would be going for ::)
for @finn666 , the fit is too big. he goes for a bit more fitted, not tight, but not a traditional work shirt fit. got like a zillion posts from him & they pretty much all have the fitted look going folks that say it has some shrinkage that's cool & we'll see, but shrinking sh!t to get the right fit is a crap shot half the time it makes it, the other half it's still to big or to small.
dope shirt & great score, may just not be the kind of fit you usually go for or one to get & pass on

I'm serious- do not size down on that shirt. The forearms will make you miserable if you do.
It really is a good fit, and it will get better after some use and abuse softens up the fabric.
EDIT: I agree with what you're saying Monday, I just don't think a smaller, more fitted size will physically work for him, even though that's more his style. The western version is probably a better cut, since it's slimmer through the body than the work shirt.
-
i totally agree @Chris and @madmonday … i won't size down that's for sure. it's either a) gonna keep it and wear it and deal with the fit or b) sending it off to another forum member.
need to take my time to "try" the fit again though, just saying

I don't know mate. Looks too long. Shoulders are too wide. Chest looks weird. I think you should size down to a medium…
Just fuckin with ya

Fantastic fit @Haddtoo 555 !
I have been considering to let IH shirts being made slimmer (waist & opening) as well but in the end of the day I didn't want to mess up the cut. Plus I don't have a trusted tailor available. But after seeing that it's possible maybe I should take the risk…

It's been slimmed starting a couple inches above the arm opening. The felled seam remains but not chainstich, the opening gusset has been removed. It now has more value to me and the brand then it would on a hanger in the closet. I liked it enough I had to give a go. A trusted tailor is a must!
