Holy mother of God. I've got my pair on today, you've motivated me to not take them off for the next 19 months or so. Did you machine wash/dry or by hand?
I always machine wash my jeans in cold water and detergent (Woolite Dark or Dr. Bronner's).

Hey guys, I got my Stevenson 714 Valencia jeans today!
Love the denim and the subtle details on these. The cut is a straight taper, so the top block has a nice bit of room while the knee down remains tapered.
I love the laurel wreath buttons, hourglass belt loops and leather backed buttons. Plus the way they tacked off the back and coin pockets is a really nice touch.
Here's some shots:

Oh man, what a beautiful pair of pants! I love the leather backing, the laurel buttons, and especially the curves pockets. Makes me consider another pair of Stevenson!
-
Lovely jeans. I like your key fob.
Can anyone give me a brief synopsis on La Jolla, Santa Rosa and Valencia?
I know SE carries LJ and SR, what's your experience with these. I think I am liking the Valencia. -
I wasn't the biggest fan of the curved pockets, but the construction is so awesome on those that I can overlook that. I love how tight the stitching is. Plus, even those features which have caused mild discomfort are growing on me.

You are right mclain. These little "nuisances" (for a lack of a better word) are making me wanting to get a pair.

post up some fit pics!

The fit looks great. Not sure about the back pockets myself.

The Valencia is a completely new fit developed from the ground up, it's not based on any previous Stevenson fits. There's even half leg sample images floating around Johan (from 3sixteen's) social media from a visit we did to Stevenson's showroom last year showing that they tested different leg tapers before deciding on the one which is on the jean now.
-
Wow, that looks incredible!

Just a question to those that own a pair of SOCLA raw denim pants:
I ordered the rigid "Fair Oaks 707" jeans, already sized down one size (ordered a 32), but they are still a bit on the big side. I think I could easily wear a 30. Unfortunately they come in inseam 36 only down to waist 32, the ones smaller than that are only inseam 34.
This might end in them being too short after a wash…So, how much do they shrink in waist and length after , let's say a 30° wash? Can I expect the 32 to become more of a 31 or even smaller?
Cheers,
Andreas -
Finally got some photos of my Stevenson chinos up. Thanks to @Anesthetist and @emceeQ for their advice.
