IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Hello All,
Been a long time fan of Iron Heart and have a number of their incredible shirts. Finally pulled the trigger and bought a pair of their jeans. Figured there is no better way to start my collection than with some 666XHS. I've worn 22 oz. denim in the past but these are a whole other world. Excited and terrified at the same time.
Currently sitting on my couch buttoning and unbuttoning them trying to get the fly broke in a bit. I can't tell if my fingers are blue primarily from indigo or from bruising. I'm going to guess a bit of both.
Anyway. Excited to contribute more to these scholarly forums soon.
Cheers.

Welcome @BloodnThunder and respect - all in with 25oz

@Giles I'm scouring this thread for answers, but it is over 200 pages. Am I right in thinking this doesn't stretch as much as the 21oz? And the shrinkage stated on the shop page, can you suggest how much that would be? An inch for tagsize 36?
And welcome @BloodnThunder

It does stretch as much as the 21oz, but it takes ages to get there…...
i'd reckon on no more than 1/2" in waist and inseam...
So after a hot soak and a few months of wear you might end up at around 37" on the tagged 36? I hate it when jawns get too big. And I suspect the 35 would have been perfect.

I'm not that patient, I use hydraulic power and clamps for as much stretch as I need. I wear this cut in a
30-31-32. The issue being that every time they get wet they need the treatment again -
@Haddtoo 555 what do you do to stretch them so much. Reading back I remember reading that you stretched a sz 31 or 32 to a 17 inch waist. Curious what you method is.

Two bits of wood and a car jack if I remember correctly

That was somebody else stretching thighs with a car jack and wood
I'll post a pic next time I stretch a waist

@Haddtoo 555 look forward to hearing how you did it. I don't want to say I want to size down, but a touch of a slimmer leg in the 25 ounce would be great.
