IHV-02DD - Double Indigo Duck Vest
-
UPS man just paid me a visit, and "HOW SWEET IT IS!"
I could have gotten away with a small, I'm sure. But, the cinch back will give me the flexibility to tighten it for a sleek, sexy, fitted look with a t-shirt, or loosen it to layer in the winter.
Fit pics coming tomorrow hopefully… I'm about to drop her in a hot tub of water... I'm not a fan of the shiny, starchy, crispy brand new look.

^sweet! When you post more pics could you also mention what size you got and what size you take in IH shirts?

Sorry, didnt see your post. I have a 40" chest so I am usually a medium in shirts and large in jackets which is the same for this vest. It will work with a tee cinched and with an UHF with the cinch out. Very versatile fit.

So… Much... Ouch...

I ordered the L size, but I need to size down to a medium. A bit too roomy for me. I usually roll with Giles on fit, but not this time. This style vest needs a more snug fit IMO.

I'm a medium in shirts and went with a large and it fits me well. Is yours too big in the chest or waist? I just hot soaked mine and maybe it shrank enough to make a large work for you. I'll go get measurements…

Ok so this is only my vest but the chest shrank to 20" even, the arm hole 11", and the opening to 20.5". Keep in mind I didn't measure prior. I will have to say that this fabric loves water. It has lost a lot of it's sheen and has picked up a lot of bruising/ character. It has become one stiff SOB as well! What about yours @UnTucked?

Hmmmm…...No. G. I advised myself. I only meant that I go with the size you usually wear as stated in the descriptions. The waist seemed way too big and a little long as well. But there is no way I wear a medium shirt as it woild be too small. I wear a L or XL in shirts with a preferred looser fit. Now I don't know what to do. I definately don't feel like shelling out $30 for return shipping if the medium is too small.
