rhxpbjx011 will certainly be ill as the kids say… but as a two time owned of 11's i'd wish the taper was slightly stronger from knee to hem... could always get them altered I suppose.... tempted!

@Madame:
Calling all Londoners! Our dear Rivet & Hide pals - Danny, Junior and Jake - are kindly hosting an Iron Heart get-together on Friday 11th September, 6pm-9pm.
We'll be bringing the Iron Heart/Yamaha "Yard Built" XJR1300 bike that has been lovingly customised by Haraki-san, and which will then have a new home in Rivet & Hide's window for a few weeks.
Haraki-san, Sarina and Jiro from IH Japan will be there, along with the full team from IH UK.
We'd love to see you, please sign up here if you can come along for a chat and a beer (or three).
Form filled in. Will be bringing a couple of mates to see if we can get them bitten by the IH bug.

We shot some photos of the PBJ X011 we have on display at the store. They belonged to Neil, a good friend of Junior. He had never worn raw denim but when our first PBJ delivery arrived during our pop up store at Apartment 58 in April 2013 he bought a pair to support our fledgling venture at the time. They now sit in our denim archive cabinet at the London store along with pairs from The Flat Head, Steel Feather, Iron Heart and other brands.
Our forthcoming collaboration with Pure Blue Japan will be a 24 oz. version of the same denim. We can only imagine at this stage how this new and exclusive fabric will age over time.
The RHxPBJx011-24oz jeans are available by pre-order http://rivetandhide.com/brands/pure-blue-japan/pure-blue-japan-rhxpbjx011-24oz-jean-pre-order.html

These (displayed hard used jeans) are just really hot!

The Flat Head 1002 jean is the slim tapered version of the 1001 in 16 oz. selvedge denim.
For those of you familiar with the 3xxx denim this is similar to the 3002 in fit.
The main difference between the 14.oz Pioneer (3xxx) denim is in the feel: the 16 oz. feels a bit rougher and the whiskers and honeycombs become really defined after just one day of wear. The intense indigo fades to powdery blue over time.http://rivetandhide.com/brands/the-flat-head/the-flat-head-1002-16-oz-slim-tapered-jean.html

The first winter flannels for 2015 arrived today. UES custom weave their own flannel fabrics on shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan.
They are distinguished by the acorn pocket design and ivory palm nut buttons grown on equatorial trees. The flannels are 100% cotton, with a brushed lining and rinsed once so won't shrink. The main body seams are chain stitched.
This year they appear in two colourways: Wine and Brown.http://rivetandhide.com/brands/ues/ues-denim-2015-heavy-selvedge-flannel-wine.html

@Danny RnH I'm curious as to whether those fit pics of THF 1002s are how they should fit before or after soaking? Thx
-
@twism_23 this 16 Oz denim does not shrink as much as the 3xxx denim. The waist stretches back out to the raw measurements. James is normally a 33w and here he wears a size 34w. They were a relaxed fit on his waist in that size.

Thanks so much for your response. @Danny RnH
-
Those flannels are NICE!
-
Yeah, fantastic colour combinations on the flannels.

The much anticipated re-run of the Pure Blue Japan x013 jean is complete. Our restock will arrive at the end of next week.
The x013 is the slim tapered jean in PBJ's signature 14 oz denim. -
