Pullin the trigger on a pr.

And bought. I was struggling with willpower as it was. It took a bit not to pick up the 666SII, too.

Can't imagine either of you will regret it.

And pre-soak, mine are a bit tight from mid-thigh to above the knee. I'm sure I'd be safe to assume they'll shrink, so back they'll go.
Pretty bummed, too.

Back to IHUK? May I ask what size you copped?

The UHR denim will only shrink as much as you want it to. It took me 3 soaks/washes to get it to really shrink. On top of that, the denim is very soft and stretches easily, once again, if you want it to.
Post a pic, and we would be happy to share our thoughts! Just an FYI, mine didn't shrink even .18 in the thigh or knee although I killed them to shrink 2.5 in waist.

This is good info. The top block is pretty comfy. Not where my 666 XHS are, but these are brand new. The XHS stretched a bit. I was surprised.

Just so you can see, here is the progress my size 38 made.
First measures are raw, then the standard 2 hour cold soak and cold wash no spin - then I went warm soak warm wash no spin and then finally hot soak + hot wash and forgot to take them out before he spin haha - no harm no foul.

Great overview, Appfaff.
I'm about to soak mine, and I want as much of the shrinkage gone before I start wearing, so I think I should do a cold soak and then a hotter wash. The guidelines recommend a cold soak followed by a wash no hotter than 30 degrees celsius, but I guess that won't get rid of all the shrinkage - so I was planning on a 40 or 50 degrees wash. I was just wondering why it is recommended not to wash the UHR hotter than 30 degrees?
-
….one reason is that leather patches don't like hot washes!
-
As I understand it, the hotter the soak the greater the shrinkage. I'll leave someone more expert than I to explain the 30 degree threshold however personally I'd have no qualms about turning the dial up to 40. As a sidebar I always soak in the bathtub….

I'm glad I didn't send these back. I had time to give them a good soak, dry, and wear around. Thighs were a little tight buy loosening up nicely. Thanks to @Appfaff for talking me into keeping them.
I also got bit on the back of the knee. -
Glad you kept them! Post up some pics!
