Too much great stuff. At least 5 must haves.
@giles: are you bringing the IHJ49 over? and will the SH156 be really black or rather Grey (I thought there was only a grey solid UHF being made)?

It's dark grey

Thanks! That IHJ49…guess it'll ruin my (non existant) wedding budget.

So I am sorry to sound ignorant, but I am trying to educate myself on IH model numbers. The denim numbers all make sense to me, but I am specifically looking to further understand the difference in model numbers for this years UHFs.
My main question is why do the recently released Western BB UHF have a model number of "101" but the upcoming Red, Green, and Red Western UHF have a model number of "127"?
Is this due to colors? Materials? Date of release?
Again, sorry to sound like a newbie, but I am just trying to better understand this process so I can be more informed.
Thanks all!

101 = Giles Exclusive Colors (Started with the purps)
127 = re-re-re-release of the 72 And the 72 was available in JP and INT. The 72 is no more, but they decided to keep the 127 in stock because Buffalo Checks are always a good idea. -
So I am sorry to sound ignorant….

Also, I don't think you sound ignorant or like a noob, and I love the nerdy side of this brand. You're basically on the path to being an IH geek and I applaud that!

Thanks so much guys! I appreciate the information regarding this. I am a bit nerdy(proudly so), but ever since I found IH, I am pretty much obsessed with this brand for so many reasons…treatment of producers/workers, sustainability of manufacture, style, materials, quality, etc, etc, etc
I know I am not alone in this
Thanks again for the schooling!

I have my logic for numbering, Haraki has his. Sometimes when I forget to tell him what I want, he makes it up and chaos ensues. If you can't deal with that. Tough….
Here's a great example of the illogicality of the Japanese. The "S" in the jeans model number denotes "selvedge", but we have just released the IH-666S-PQ which is non selvedge. Apart from inwardly screaming when I see it, I just let it roll.
Here's another quirk. Often I nickname something and then The Crew think that it is correct English. For example, I nicknamed Left Handy Twill "Lefty" as it was easier to type. Now all our LHT items have lefty in the title because Haraki thought Lefty was the proper English way of saying Left Hand Twill....

As above, its part of the charm….

Gotta say after looking at the line sheets for f/w 16 there's so much great stuff.
IHJ-49 looks great in both colors, not sure which to go with. Currently leaning towards the chocolate color since I have a IH type 3 in black already. Also I'm curious what the lining is made out of?
Blue/cream workshirt, purple/black hombre workshirt, blue/grey western, and black crazy plaid westerns are all must haves…
Indigo corduroy looks very warm, love the choice of using the black diamond snaps.
Wool workshirts look great, a little on the fence because I don't know if I need a wool shirt where I live.
717 chinos look nice, just wish they had a button fly.
All that being said I'm going to start trying to save up now! -
My favorite thing about this thread is the fact that every time I check it there is a new picture of an incredible piece. Never ending.
