Self Edge x Iron Heart = SEXIH22-301s
-
The fades aren't bad. I have been wearing mine for a solid month and the fades are awesome so far. I do a lot of sitting as well, but I do a lot of on my knees and sliding all over the place with my job, so I am getting a lot of friction some days, means quicker fades
Everyday they are better and better, love how soft they are getting now as well.

This will be my next pair I break in. Really looking forward to them. I love @Urbanwoodsman pair. I just can't abandon my 666-XHS they are just starting to come to life.
-
Hell, mine only look a few weeks old compared to these guys. Had them for over a year and they probably have 4-5 months wear on them. I guess I'm just not that active in them.
-
These may be my next pair!
Well see how many are left in your size. Self Edge probably has a few left. Once they gone… No more.
The contrast is amazing in person.
-
What is love without some pain?
They don't breathe as much as my 3Sixteens…but no warm weather here for a while yet.

@den213:
Great results! And welcome :)!

Slowly but surely these are coming along, worn on and off since 2013 and machine washed whenever needed. The fit is snug so I've had to put them aside in lazier times and the rise drives me nuts no matter what shape I'm in, but the denim is so soft and beautiful and I am stubborn, so they keep a place in the rotation. Apologies for the goofy look, I was having a tough time figuring out what to look at

Some updates on mine after 258 wear days and a 2nd wash. Just received them back from a great darning job

They look great, who did the repair?
-
It was Melvin Rakers. Formerly Mr. Handy Denim Repair. Really pleased with the result.
-
How did you arrange for Melvin to repair them? I sent a pair of jeans to him through Vater and Sohn. He held the jeans for 2 months and then decided to return them to Vater and Sohn without repairing them.
-
I also have two pairs at his work to be repaired. He has them for two weeks and I haven't heard anything. I contacted him directly via email and included pictures. He gave me a quote for the repairs (no time-frame though but I didn't ask for it). Now I play the waiting game.
-
The communication was quite quick and easy via Facebook. I contacted him with some pictures of the holes. He gave me a cost estimation (80EUR inkl. back-shipment) which was kept and a time estimation 2-3 weeks. Then I sent the jeans directly to him on 9th of March and received it back on the 3rd of April (inkl. shipment Germany - Netherlands).

@beef_bonanza your jeans look awesome.
I have a pair of these that I will now wear just because of your pictures. How often did you wash?
I ask because your patch is still beautiful & my leather patches are always destroyed no matter how I launder my denim
-
Thanks a lot 8).I gave them one initial soak and two cold machine washes. No special treatment for the patch.
